These guys are very useful for organic polymer, I would shoot it down with my simple pistol and hit with my club and get a lot more than from a hesperonis, a lot easier to find and slower too.

If you make a farm of these guys make sure you kill the babys regularly or else they will pile up and make your game lag like crazy

Everyone says use club but me personally I like sword better because of the durability difference. They gather about the same amount just clubs gather a bit more per swing.

Don’t use a higher level crossbow. It has a higher chance of killing it.

If your base is too far from obsidian for easy polymer farming, tame a few of these and breed them to have easy access to polymer!

It seems one can't tame non-adults, i tried. Had one shot at low level adults, quickly unconscious, but no matter how much i trued to knock out non-adults, i ended up killing all of them...

I keep killing these things and I have no clue when they respawn, I’m looking for places where they spawn so far only found them in the shore area of the snowy place. If anyone knows how long they take to respawn please do let me know!

Tame the babies, they starve faster, meaning taming progress goes faster. But prepare to stay in the snow for awhile, as you can’t pick up babies.
