For early game noobies, this little guy has many uses, easy to tame, detects the weather change, and is a small packpack ruducing see it weight. Also if you are not looking to tame one, they seem to be good sources for hide early game, often giving more than a parasaur from my experience.

How jerboas work: 1. U can use them as a shoulder pet. 2. U can use them to alert u of in coming weather conditions. And 3. U can bring them into boss arenas.

Yes even though it detects weather events that are going to happen I just take a bunch of them and use them as moving storage boxes because they can hold 100 pounds each at only level 1

If you are playing ark in 2019 November than the only place you can find these guys are in dungeons plus they are Earie and that’s so cool you’ll look all cute but you just come out with an army of them

They have no use on mobile except the perk of cuteness and eerie/normal

Tame 1 and get your friends to make a fighting ring

In my experience, the jerboa has the highest weight stat of all shoulder pets in ASA. I have not tamed a Pyromane yet tho. Every other shoulder pet has very little weight (usually 70 or so on decent levels) but jerboas have usually triple digit weight stats. They also have a reduction of their weight when you pick them up.

Great if you need to carry resources by hand for any reason.

They can detect storms, but I think this is because in real life most insects and animals can sense a tsunami or earthquake a mile away

If things in it's inventory spoil faster, try putting meat by the thousand's(ish) to make more narcos

So I just made a sever then I looked for a base I saw a PINK jerboa and so I punched her till she 😴 tamed her then I put her in my house, she started waving her tail and farting a LOT I thought she was constipated, then like 2-3 mins later there was a thunderstorm so thanks person who pulled up a tip that told me that she WASENT constipated
