I got mine from a dungeon. Mind that I play ark mobile, so I use mine as a nightlight, a weight reducer and as a cute Lil pet. Also, why does mine have 754 health? And one shots dodos.

Got my jerboa to level 178 8th gen the it died to a level 125 lighting wyvern (pretty good backpacks) buff health

NEVER GO FAR WITH OUT ONE:

it will be disastrous if you are flying about or taking a large caravan for a walk and a sandstorm leaves you stranded near raptors or wolves.

Apparently if it barks at the sky there will be a sandstorm, shaking its tail will be a electric storm and digging actions means a heatwave

Very good if you want to detect storms and easy to get early game. Collect cool colours and breed to make a colourful siren for when weather events happen

In ark mobile jerboa does the same thing as it does in scorched earth tamed so run in a dungeon and there cute like otters and it’s still tell weather

Warns you what storm is coming, and when. If it makes a chirping kinda noise to the sky, it's a sandstorm. If it tries to bury it's head in the ground and shakes it's head, it's a superheat. If it shakes it's tail and growls, lightning storm.

Detects weather events. Singing means lighting storm is coming.

Easy meat source, good for farming.

Make sure to make a pen and have a velociraptor on aggro in another.

Put 2 male jerboa and 2 female jerboa, breed them.

Once you have 20 jerboa throw half into the raptor pen.

Rinse and repeat

Personally I like to wait until there is 40

(For larger amounts have a larger pen)

2. Put them in a big pen and have 5 males and 10 female jerboa then have a small pack of dilos (3) on aggro mode and they will kill the babies when the birthed for easy prime meat.

As of July 27th 2022, on xbox official, The weather detection and weight reduction work perfectly. Plus they're the easiest tame next to DoDo but so much more useful than an egg dispenser lol

It can wear a hat, yup that's how cool it is. It is also very grammar for a first tame.

Very helpful can help you survive storms

So you really need this if you are playing in scroched earth because these can help you on the desert because it can sense when a heat wave is coming I hope the helped.

This cute little fella can detect a storm up to THREE MINUTES! They also reduce the weight in their invintory which makes it somewhat good for travling. You will need to make sure the parents have a fairly good food stat or the baby will die pretty fast or give it food as soon as he/she is born.

These little guys do not like Fjordur. If you bring them over they will be constantly growling. Probably because of the new weather events. I hope this gets patched soon because I miss bringing a jerboa with me everywhere

You can put a helmet on it, every kind except for tek. the miners helmet looks cute, Especially if you put nerdy glasses on it.

If you're a noob starting scorched earth get a couple of these on aggressive in your base so you know who raided you, so tell alpha or hit them back when you build up.
