It has infinite stamina need I say more?

I don’t tame em because their saddle is unlock at lvl 30 and I’m not the type of guy that does note runs if ever by the time I unlock their saddle i have access to stegos trikes which while harder to tame I found them to be better at everything except travelling but 8 levels later u get the pteranodon which can avoid all dangers and have comparatively the same taming difficulties except that Pteranodons are everywhere so I rarely tame them unless the xp multiplier is higher than like 6 not saying they are useless just saying that I don’t find them useful to me

Their base damage is like 25 but Raptor is about 15

Step 2: find cattails and use Iguanodon to gather seeds from the cattails

Step 3: BOOM! In no time you have Plant Species X seeds

Once tamed, up its speed weightvcd and attack, then you've got yourself a fratetrain

I saw someone questioning why it says it's great at collecting Biotoxin and for anyone confused if you use this guy to harvest those weird red mushrooms that make you hallucinate in Aberration it's a good way to get bio toxin super early in game and get rid of those annoying mushrooms

Great pack animals, these guys don't use ANY stamina when they run on all fours!! Definitely a nice tame to have around.

I absolutely love Iguanodons! They're fast, pretty tough, and pretty cool looking. 10/10 would recommend :)

I like to use them for early game middle runs because of the infinite stamina when on all fours. Pump some levels into weight

These guys are good for defending yourself if you have a saddle for it you can kill other players that way no one will mess with you but if someone has a dino such as a carno you can use this to run if you have a saddle

I rode this to a terminal 7 times and it’s still alive!

If you're getting attacked while on an iguanadon keep in mind that they are actually good swimmers so jumping into the water is a good way to escape large carnivores

In abberration, or valguero they can harvest the (any)poisonous mushrooms for bio toxin.

The iguanodon can take no fall damage when you fall down a cliff, making it easier to ensure proper safety. They can collect berries and extract seeds from them for your crop plots. They can also collect a plethora of thatch and a decent number of wood. Really great beginners mount.

So I tamed one of these and named him Edmont. He is a great runner, so when I need to tame something that runs really fast, I mount Edmont. I also like to farm, so when I need seeds, I give Edmont the fruit and he seeds it. He’s one of the best dinos I’ve ever met.

If you’re new to the game don’t even TRY taming a para, these guys are just as easy to tame as paras and 10x better. They have infinite stamina in galloping mode and harvest plants like a BEAST, they’re decently fast, decently strong, and have very good weight (low level iguanodons have bad stats, but higher level ones have insanely good weight and health) I don’t even use paras anymore, literally the only thing that Para does better than iguanodon is swim
