Tip 1: Turn autorun on, press "apply" and restart the game(without restarting it may bug and not apply). Without autorun on, when you double tap and hold left side, it won't always sprint, only run. With autorun, it always sprints if you double tap and then hold. It's a bug. You always wanna sprint because of infinite stamina.

Tip 2: When you approach to mount Iguanodon, tap on the top left saddle icon, instead of the normal way on the right side. If you tap on the right, sometimes it may register as action and will make Iguanodon produce seeds instead of you mounting on the saddle. I would also recommend to disable the option that holding tap makes you dismount because some other tames have a hold action, like Trike charge, so you won't dismount while trying to do it.

This Dino is an amazing starter tame!

-its easy to knock out, just grab a bola, and use a slingshot!

-Its speed is awesome, it can jump high, it doesn’t take massive fall damage and, it has decent health!

-it can hold a lot of stuff such as, berries, thatch, wood, hide, meat and more!

-If your a farmer you’ll need this, it can turn berries into seeds, it can save you from farming for hours for seeds!

-downsides

-They have decent health but they can easily be killed by something larger then a raptor

-its hard to find a high level and there really a pain to deal with.

-you can get attacked from any side with ease, watch out for that.

-they can easily be bolad and tranqed by enemy players.

-there wait is fine, but it’s not enough, someone could be running at you and you accidentally hit a tree and get encumbered.

The iguanodon is one of the most important tames early/mid game. Forget metal runs, forget the seeds, try a taming mount with infinite stamina and insane speed that can hold its own against the biggest predators.

Get a high level one, upgrade alot of health and move speed (it’s pretty squishy), and some melee damage. Now get an xbow for every 100 tranq arrows, and narcotics. It should already have enough weight to carry the equipment you need, it has infinite stamina, and it has a decent pike-like attack with a little bit of knockback (move backwards and spam left click).

When fighting/taming on it, circle around the enemy (try to stick on their tail and be annoying), be careful not to get swarmed, try to take things head on, and don’t be afraid to run away on all 4s to avoid taking on too much at once. This thing should be able to hold its own if you can’t be bothered to bring escorts.

To be fair, procoptodon sorta does all this but better in some ways, but iguanodon has its place and is usually located in safe enough areas (watch for raptors).

When in quadrupedal mode iguanadons have Infinite stamina and can jump, while in bipedal mode they can attack.

These things are the cutest harvester recommended starter Dino I'm lvl 105 and I still use a ton of iguanadons let this tip be useful1

Make seeds.

Take a mindwipe. Put all your levels in crafting.

Make custom recipes with seeds for food and drink.

Food lasts forever.

These creatures can run on all fours for an unlimited amount of time! There stamina doesn't run out sprinting unless it is running on its back legs only. This can occur after attacking a target, dismount to fix it.

It's a must have for primitive plus. It makes seeds and you can turn seeds into organic oil

Easy take do not sleep on it really helps to get around with put a flyer and does decent damage also just bola it and use anything to knock it out✌️

They have a LOT of food capacity you barely have to feed them at great utility Dino CRAZY FAST, unlimited stamina, the previously mentioned food rate and their pretty decent attack on smaller dinos from about Compy to Raptor at base stats, make this guy (or girl) useful for everything! Did I mention they are great for agriculture they strip seeds out of berries great for planting! 4.5/5 tame also it looks great!!!

I Would Recommended This Thing To EVERYONE Its Such A Good Tame It Not Only Can Jump High But It Also Is An Insane Adventure mount (Infinite Stamina On All Fours) Only Pump Weight And Speed And Health If You Really Want To Since Its So Squishy!

If you want to be a farmer definitely tame this creature it's just like a parilimmus (mix of parasaur and galliminus) and has infinite stamina replace your gallii and parasaur with this guy best kibble maker cause you need crops to make kibble and this guy is great for getting crops and turns them to seeds I have a narcotics store in my server and I have this guy and a rex for spoiling meat and some freinds and we have over 15000 narcotics and we exchange technology like TEK,gasoline,and guns we exchange 1000 narcotics for 5 items if you are in multiplayer and have this guy open your first narco store

Probably the best Dino for farming because of it’s ability to turn fruit and veggies into seeds also a good traveling mount

These Guys are super helpful, Recommend getting one. They are mainly good for travel and melee. For example, my Iguanodon (Orange Popsicle) killed a Rex no problem and was barely damaged. Anyways, They're seeding fruit ability is helpful especially if you have a desert base or something. Their taming is especially easy, Bola and bat. That's pretty much all you need. I definitely like to call these guys my favorite dino.

You have a better chance of surviving hostile dinos with one of these at early game than with a parasaur
