This dinosaur is great. It can run fast, almost never run out of energy, jump, carry a decent about of weight, and collect a bunch of berries. If you need to travel long distance, I would use an Iguanodon.

I was with my iguanodon level 25 he had speed 114% and I had a saddle on it and I was riding it I was just getting rocks for my walls and I was only level 30 and I saw a spino it was not attacking me so I thought maybe when u are on a Dino some dinos not attack u but when I went closer it showed me u have entered a dangerous area and the spino started attacking me but my iguanodon out ran it very easily I was shocked but there was two dilos they attacked my iguanodon and I was trying escaping but they poisoned it and it almost died but I quickly unmounted and killed the dilos with my crossbow and my iguanodon almost got killed so they are very fast but very weak u can only use them for exploring if u are not a high level they can also out run raptors

I had one named Ignatius. He literally just died. I’m really sad because he was a really high level and he was fast and strong as heck. I would recommend you to tame one... if you can remember never to have it on passive like me :( rip ignatius..

Don’t try to tame one of these dudes when there’s another one around. It will end badly. Trust me. 💀

On Valguero these guys are East of the green obelisk in the woods before the swap.

How to tame:

1.Craft a bola (maybe a few if you have bad aim).

2. Collect berries, I suggest 20. Maybe 40.

3. Find a iguanodon!

4. Bola it and use a knock out weapon (if you use a club or fists, do it from behind them, otherwise they’ll punch you).

5. Put the food in it’s inventory (berries work fine).

6. Enjoy your new iguanodon!

These things are just parasaurs but BEASTS they are very fast do some ok dmg they are good for carrying things and the saddle is only lvl 30 so they are in my opinion one of the best early- mid game tames 10/10 would reccomend

STAMINA!!!!!! UNLIMITED STAMINAAAAAAAA!!!!!!

I can’t stress how good these are. If you pump movement for a while they can be great for use in a taming pin they can jump over at least 2 or 3 high walls if in gather mode and run the sprint mode with lvs in movement it can outrun most animals on the island. On top of that later in the game gather berries with it and turn the into seeds for a lighter non-sloiling food source. One seed weights .01and gives 1 food.

Use a bola on it then shoot it's head with transfer to knock it out.

1. Get compy kibble and narcotics 2.craft a bola 3.find a iguanodon 4.trap it 5. Knock it out 6. Put the kibble and narcotics in its inventory . And some things of it . Its great at gathering berries.the saddle can be unlocked at level 30 and can be crafted 80 hide 50 fiber 15 wood. Thank you.

Can turn Berries into seeds. Excellent early game Dino.

Super easy to tame with good melee damage you can knock this out with your fists. Tamed just about as good as parasaur and the saddle is the same as a parasaur’s when it comes to crafting and when on all fours they use zero stamina even when running!

One of the best travel mount ever. This dude can run at high speed on four legs, without draining a single stamina. They basically have infinite stamina. The can also do bipedal walking and running. They have an ability, they can turn your berries into seeds.

Iguanodon's can be found in forests, the redwoods, and sometimes by the mountains.

Their eggs kibble up. That means they tame on simple kibble and produce eggs for regular kibble. They seed fruit and veggies. That means they convert berries and crops into seeds of the same type. They don't use stamina while on all fours. They can fight while on 2 legs. They are fast. They harvest berries well. One of the best , if not the best multi purpose dinos in the game.

These guys are one of my favorites. Iguanodons are perfect early-game tames, and can be used for a variety of functions. When running on two legs their stamina does not drain, they are quick, have decent weight, and are more than capable of handling a scuffle with a raptor or two. You can also shoot of their back, and they can jump pretty high. Solid Dino.

So good to gather rare flowers from cattails! I figured it out with my my level 25 (his name is Ivan) and it is so awesome!😱
