I do it well idk what I thought but I was going to the swamp.I thought it wasn’t an bad idea(it was)and I was going.“mold“ had endless stamina on four feet and was fast.Well I was in the swamp and snakes wanted to kill my and „mold“.I’ve ran and easily got away but then there was something I didn’t expect.“Mold“ was stuck in two trees and bevor I could get him out all snakes came.I wanted to help mold but a fast tiny crocodile grabbed my and pulled my in the water.“Mold“ was fighting to the end like my and the croc.After I’ve killed the crocodile I got out the water and helped „mold“.Well.Wanted.I couldn’t find him because the croc pulled my so far away that it was impossible to find him.A short time after that I’ve saw that „mold“ was unconscious.I wanted to help but there was to many snakes.After that I was sad because my first Dino left my.But sone I’ve could get my revenge and I’ve got my a new one and called him orange spelled backwards.But „mold“ will be somewhere in my base flying as a ghost.1like is 1 Flower for „mold“.

I.... I LOVE my iguanodon. I’ve had him since I was a lvl 17, he followed me round everywhere, we sailed round the entire island together, and when I got him a saddle, we became even closer. He had gorgeous yellow spots and a lovely orangey-red skin tone, so I called him Spottius Yellowus. He is only a lvl 24, and I am a lvl 53, as of now, and I’m writing this from the swamps. We were hunting carno’s together, like the best buds we were, when a baronyx jumped me. I knew Spottius could take raptors, packs worth even, but I thought we were good as dead by then, but he just kept head butting the bary like it was nothing. His health had gone down 400 times before the baronyx called it quits and ran, but no matter the whistles, he chased that bastard down. I am nowhere near as fast as Spottius, and he belted it over hill and through river, following that baronyx to the ends of the earth if he had to. No predator had escaped Spottius before. It wouldn’t happen now. With incredible vigour, he caught up and lunged at the bary. It squealed in pain, attracting a nearby theri and arousing a close carbonenemys from its grazing, and they all sandwiched Spottius in, bashing and chomping and stamping. His health was rapidly depleting, but he didn’t bash an eyelid. Instead, he just looked at me, helpless. I wouldn’t stand for it. He COULDNT die. Not now. If I have my way, not ever. I broke into a full sprint towards the mob, disregarding my life and safety, and lunged into the mess. With my master raft sword, I slashed and stabbed, and I took the theri, on full health, the bary, on half, and the carbonenemys, who was head butting Spottius dreadfully hard. We finished him off together, and my iguanodon is now on 73 health. He is a trooper.

I had just tamed me up a lvl 40 iguanodon and as soon as I was about to take it to my base it got killed sarcophagus (alligator).likes for my poor iguanodon.

Iguanadons are lifelong companions. They are fast as raptors but have infinite stamina and can hit just as hard.

I tamed my Iguanadin at level 16 and we were very close. She was a beautiful white with multicolored specks down her spinal ridge. I named her Orangespeck. I guessed for her saddle as soon as I unlocked it. She was always there when I needed berries or simply to explore a new area on foot.

I play on console, and there are events. One night, I was harvesting berries on my trike, Goldenstreak. I was about to obliterate a berry bush when a 'Super Turkey' that was level 250, ran under my feet. At that moment I knew Goldenstreak was gone. The turkey hit Orangestreak instead. She was on Neutral. She hit one. I dismounted from my trike and desperately tried to flee on Orangespeck. She died while I tried to run.

R.I.P. Orangespeck. I hope where ever you are now is a better place than the island.

When I first happened upon the inlet that I now call home, I spent many a day exploring the coast around it. On a particularly sunny afternoon, when the air was full of the sweet scent of ripe berries dangling off their bushes in clumps of color, I walked East, and happened upon an Iguanodon.

It was a noble creature, meandering across the flower-speckled sand with its head held high. It’s hide was a creamy tan, dotted with orange speckles and it’s spine covered in a long dark stripe.

Cautious of the glossy black spikes protruding from the animals thumbs, I sent a bola twirling towards it’s feet. The Iguanodon trumpeted furiously, immobilized, as I moved in with a crude wooden club, intent on striking the dinosaur unconscious.

Foolishly, I stepped within range of the creatures arms, and paid for it with a painful slash across my forearm from one of those wicked thumb spikes.

Bleeding, and a little angry, I dealt several fierce blows to the Iguanodon, and my face split in a triumphant smile as it fell, unconscious, to the beach.

Once the creature had worked up a sufficient appetite, I fed her - for it was a her - a handful of Mejoberries from my outstretched palm.

By twilight she had awoken and was tamed, and as we walked West together, I made up my mind to call her Apricot, after the orange spots that were scattered across her belly and sides.

Since that warm afternoon so long ago, Apricot has been an invaluable friend and mount, full of surprising and incredibly useful abilities. She’s a fierce fighter; I once found the corpse of a wild raptor at her feet and Apricot was completely unscathed.

As I have progressed through my journey on the ARK, I have domesticated stronger and more fearsome creatures, and have not needed to ride Apricot as frequently as I had. As such, I have decided to retire her to a lovely life in a fenced pasture overlooking the sea, and have even found her a mate: a handsome orange and red fellow named Mango.

-Chapter 58-

“Ow!”

“Sit—sit down already!”

“I told you, I’m fine.”

“T e l l me all you want, but this is my home, and you have a broken leg. Now sit.”

Coal winced as Bramble placed another wad of cobwebs onto his leg, but slowly complied and set himself down into the bed of ripped up ferns. Bramble gave a satisfied grunt and carefully checked to the see if the wound was still bleeding.

Forest sat in the corner of the burrow, curling his tail around his legs. He was glad they could finally get some real rest.

“I can’t believe this,” Coal was muttering. “The Terror birds have lived in that stronghold for ninety years, and it never showed any signs of weakness. It wasn’t supposed to fall for another hundred!”

“It’s not destroyed,” Bramble reassured. “It’s just lost a few stones. I don’t know why parts of it went down, but—“

“Maybe it was a sign,” Coal wailed, looking tortured.

“You did the right thing, helping us escape.” Spark said to him.

“Maybe destroying my home and breaking my leg was the universe telling me it wasn’t,” Coal said.

“No,” Forest joined in. “Not a sign.”

“We thank you for everything,” said Spark.

Coal closed his eyes with a sigh. Bramble stood up and went to the other end of the burrow, before carefully digging up a few odd-looking roots. He yanked them out and padded down another small tunnel, the roots hanging from his jaws.

“Tell us more about this Jethezzar,” Spark said to the Prince after a moment.

The Terror bird opened his eyes slowly, lifting his head a bit. “What do you want to know?”

“Everything.” Crimson said.

“Alright,” said Coal softly.

Bramble entered the room, along with a few more cobwebs and leaves. Prince Coal began.

“I’ll start from the beginning. A hundred years ago, the first Terror bird Emperor, my great-grandfather, got tired of his kind traveling acrossed Runheimr for scraps. Gradually he began to claim the territory tree by tree, until he had enough land for all the Terror birds to live freely. He discovered the stronghold shortly after, and used it for his closest friends and family to live in. Everyone else dwelled where they wanted to. Runheimr was ours.”

He continued on. “Twenty years later, he had a son named Carrion. Carrion was the next Emperor after his father went missing, but Carrion was greedy, and of course he wanted more. Carrion tried to take—OWW!”

“Sorry,” Bramble rumbled, pressing several dark red fronds against Coals wound. “Should have warned you. Here, swallow this.” He held out a small pale colored leaf.

Coal regarded the herb for a moment, blinking. “You want me to… eat that?”

“It’s a plant. Get over it.” Bramble said. “Now eat.”

Coal exhaled slowly and took the leaf, chewing a moment before gulping it down. “Let me finish. Carrion tried to gain even more power over Runheimr. He killed a lot. I won’t get into detail, though. And eventually, he got wanted he wanted. More control. Finally, many years later, my father hatched. He had many friends, and many siblings, but he was the most kind and just. I’m very lucky he found my Mother and claimed the throne after Carrion died.” The Prince took a deep breath. “One day, when he was much older, he met a young Wyvern—Jethezzar—at a lake, about seven years ago. Jethezzar told my father that he could help us rise to a higher purpose. And, with him as our ally, we could rule more than just Runheimr. My father accepted. It was good deal.”

“I can’t believe he fell for it,” Bramble broke in. “Nobody would just graciously help another kind steal territory. I bet you anything that Jethezzar’s plan was to help you as much as possible, and then demand his share. Whether it’s some of the territory for himself, food, treasure—“

“Treasure!” Coal barked, making Nyx jump. “We don’t have any treasure! We’re only where we are now because of our strength in numbers! We don’t have jewels, we don’t have gold, we don’t even have a scrap of element, for Fjordurs sake! If Jethezzar is planning on demanding any kind of wealth, I’ll tell him he can go eat his own tail!” He tried to stand up, but yelped and fell back, hissing.

“Hey, Calm down. Rest.” Bramble ordered. “Your leg is not gonna heal if you keep moving it around like this.” He pushed Coal back into a laying position.

“Anything else?” Forest asked.

“That’s all I know.” Coal replied. “Rrrrrrgh, that lying snake of a Wyvern. Your probably right. He wants something from us. I don’t know what, and I hope I never do. But whatever it is, it’s probably not good.”

“We’ll make sure you don’t,” Forest said. We’ll stop Jethezzar, he wanted to say. But he wasn’t sure if that would be true. Was Jethezzar the real threat here? Was HE the one the Five we’re supposed to save Fjordur from?

If so, what was he planning to take from the Terror birds?

Journey Through All Creatures

Chapter 12: The Hunter Cave

Note: Story starts in Achatina, The Island ABC order, and has a Prologue. Chapters usually have two or more creatures in it. Last chapter in Gigantopitcheus, next chapter in Leedsicthys.

LONG CHAPTER INCOMING! GET READY…

After around an hour of walking, Sodden and his new tribe were approaching the lower south cave, the cave with the Artifact of the Hunter. His Carcha approached the cave slowly, then Sodden hopped off, as did everyone else. Sodden looked at a nearby iguanadon and shot it down. Sodden then walked to the cave entrance and looked back. Denine came over and said, “You got a shotgun of your own?” Sodden took out a shotgun from his bag. “Just this primitive one. You got something better?” Sodden said. “I think I do.” Denine said. Then Red ran up and took out a shotgun. He then handed it to Sodden. “Take mine. She’s got a pretty special shotgun on her.” Red said. “Oh… what kind of shotgun?” Sodden said. “A crazy shotgun. A ascendant one with a meteor on the sides and red on the top. Its bullets are powerful and can rip through implants quickly. Not that we would ever do that. Its damage is 756%.” Red said. “True. That’s why no one knows of this thing. Because if it fell into the wrong hands, survivors would be dying permanently left and right. All they gotta do is shoot one bullet through the implant, and boom. That survivor is gone for good. Because they can’t come back if their implant is destroyed.” Denine said. “Okay. Sounds cool, but I’ve got a lot to do today, so… just let me go.” Sodden said. He took out a cryopod and threw it. It opened and a raptor came out. It was his lead raptor, Reaper. Then he took Red’s shotgun, got on Reaper, and ran into the cave. “Red, give our new guy a break. He’s been through a lot.” Denine said. “Okay. There’s just so many cool things about this tribe. You have the strongest shotgun in the universe, we have the greatest Rexes ever…” Red said. “You have a lot of energy. Calm down, dude! He’s got a lot to do. We can give him a tour when he’s done for the day.” Denine said. “Oh, alright.” Red said,

Deep in the cave, Sodden was shooting down insects and bats, creeping and flying towards them. Sodden’s raptor ate up some spiders and ran down to where he knew the artifact would be. He crept slowly into the artifact room, took out a shotgun, and prepared to shoot any creatures that may come. He then heard quiet hissing behind him, and he turned around and saw a snake coming. He yelped and shot him down before it could knock out the raptor. He then hopped off and walked to the artifact container. He then took off the lid and took out a artifact. The container then disappeared in a ball of green light. Sodden put the artifact in his bag and got on his raptor, and then went to leave the cave. When he rose from the cave entrance, he put his raptor back into the cryopod and got on his Carcha. “The creatures I’m doing now are all spread out across the Ark. I got a lot of traveling to do today.” Sodden said. Denine nodded and everyone got on their Rexes, and then followed Sodden out of the jungle towards his base.

Around an hour later, the group approached the wooden, walled off base slowly. “Okay. We’re here.” Sodden said. He hopped off his Carcha, along with everyone else, and they allw walked towards the base. “Sodden, what’re you going to do? What creatures you got?” Red said. “Well, I have the Kaikuru in the snow, then the Kentrosaurus. Then the Leech. They’re spread all across the Ark.” Sodden said. “Okay. You got a flyer?” Red asked. “Yes. I wanna show you guys my base before I go.” Sodden said. He walked into the gates and everyone else followed. “This is the main base. I’m working on upgrading it to stone. I’d get an Argy, but I still don’t have a high enough level for its saddle.” Sodden said. Denine looked around and noticed the two walls surrounding the base. “That’s a big wall.” Denine said. “Yeah. I do not want anyone trying to break in. Not when I’m away killing off creatures on the JTAC mission.” Sodden said. He looked to the left and pointed to the barn. “That’s the breeding place for my creatures. My raptor army and Carcha army. You got a really great survivor on your tribe. I will release these raptors on anything or anyone that tries to hurt my friends!” Sodden yelled. “You are truly a great one. You look determined to protect your friends when you need to.” Denine said. “Yes. It’s my promise. I’ve got things to do today. You can check out my raptors and Carchas.” Sodden threw out a cryopod and his pteranodon came out. He hopped on, but before he took off, Red tapped Sodden’s leg. Sodden looked down, and Red said, “Be careful.” Sodden nodded, then he tapped his pteranodon and it screeched as it took off and flew towards the snow.

After an hour of flying, Sodden, dressed in fur armor, approached the northern shore, just north of the eastern snow mountain. He found a flat, rocky area near a icy waterfall and the vast ocean. He landed his pteranodon near the shore and took out his shotgun. He shot down some nearby wolves then walked to some nearby penguins. He aimed the shotgun at one of the penguin’s heads. “I’m sorry, little one.” Sodden said. He pulled the trigger, and seconds later, a death message showed up. Sodden nodded and walked to his pteranodon to leave. He took off and went to the hunting area.

When Sodden showed up at the hunting area an hour later, he had his pteranodon land a little bit far from the hunting area, then Sodden hopped off and ran to the area. He went behind some trees then took out a spyglass to look for a Kentro. Then someone walked up to him and tapped him on the shoulder. Sodden turned around to see Dundo standing there. “Oh, hey. One of Rod’s friends, right?” Sodden asked. No response. “Dude?” Sodden said. Dundo still didn’t say anything. “Just… get your stupid creatures.” Dundo said. “Uh… is something wrong?” Sodden said. “What… heh. Nothing’s wrong! Ha! You think I’m worried about the fact you just allied with the most hunted tribemaster in the Arks? Ha!! HA, HA, HA!” Dundo yelled hysterically. “Dude… what are you saying?” Sodden said. “I… I gotta go. Can’t… say… must leave…” Dundo stammered. He then ran off. Sodden called for him, but he didn’t come back. Sodden sighed then growled. “No. If I need to know something important, I will know it.” Sodden said. He ran to follow Dundo into the forest. He threw out his raptor as he was running and hopped on quickly. He sprinted towards Dundo, as he heard footfalls going southeast. “Dude! What the…” Sodden called. “Trust me, you do not want to know!” Dundo yelled as he kept running. “Well, it seems like I need to know!” Sodden said. Dundo yelled then threw a rock at the ground. The ground hit the raptor’s head and Sodden fell off. “Oh! I’m sorry. I did not mean to do that!” Dundo said as he took Sodden’s arm and helped him up. “You can help me by telling me what you mean!” Sodden yelled. Dundo sighed. “You will regret hearing this. I know of your plan to leave The Island with Serenity and leave behind her tribe. But before you can even think about leaving, there’s a tribe that needs your help. That tribe is the one you’re with.” Dundo said. “So?” Sodden asked. “Denine and her friends are being hunted by this really powerful tribe. Their name is Nameless. Yeah, that’s their name. They recently discovered the presence of Denine’s universally godlous weapon. They don’t know you’re with them. And if they find out who you are, it will not end well.” Dundo said. Sodden gasped and put his hand to his mouth. “So what?” Sodden said. Dundo put his hands on Sodden’s shoulder. “You need to make sure Nameless never finds Denine. They have this flag with a really brutal image. It’s of a Theri piercing a survivor in their chest and implant, and blood on the floor. If you see that picture on a flag and you’re with Nudon, run. Tell your tribe to run. Right away. If anyone, anyone sees you guys, run back to base immediately. Protect your tribemates with your life. Because… they don’t want to just kill survivors, they want to destroy their implants so they never respawn. Thus, they want Nudon to go extinct.” Dundo said. Sodden gasped..”This is me telling you to keep your friends safe. Until Nameless is gone, you can’t leave the Ark.” Dundo said. “Okay. I trust you. I hope you’re not just doing stuff. You know, annoying me.” Sodden said. “Sodden, I am doing this to protect you and your friends. This is a mission, a tough mission, but once completed, it may free many people.” Dundo said. Sodden nodded. “Okay, can I get back to what I’m doing?” He said. Dundo nodded and walked away. Sodden helped his raptor up, because his claws were hurt, and put him into a cryopod. Then he took out his Carcha and hopped on. The Carcha growled softly and ran to the hunting area.

Sodden made it back and looked around to see a Kentrosaurus wandering from the area into the forest. The Carcha turned around and crunched down the Kentro’s body. Sodden nodded and then hopped off. He then put his Carcha into a cryopod and threw out another cryopod, this time the pteranodon came out. Sodden got on and flew to the swamp. But while he was flying there, something came up on his implant. It was a message from Red, saying “Are you almost done?” Sodden activated voice recorder to send a message and he said, “Yeah, I’m on the last creature of today. I’ll return soon.” The implant then stopped recording and the message was sent to Red. He got his pteranodon to keep going, but soon, it randomly started flying down above the jungle, near the wetlands. Sodden noticed that it was out of stamina. “Ugh. I should’ve landed before sending that message.” Sodden groaned. He sat there for 30 seconds until the pteranodon hit ground. He waited for around 20 seconds for the pteranodon to get full stamina, then Sodden tapped his pteranodon and it screeched, taking off and flying down to the swamp.

Sodden landed his pteranodon just before the wetlands’ dirty water, then put the pteranodon in a cryopod. He soon found a leech hopping across the shore, and shot it down. Sodden then heard some splashing. He took out a wooden shield and held it in the front of his body. Sure enough, it was a Kaprosuchus. “OH! I almost forgot to include you in the list! Okay. Good reminder.” Sodden chuckled. He held his shotgun and shot down the Kapro. It was dead in seconds. “Okay, now I’m done.” Sodden said. He threw out his pteranodon and hopped on. Then it took off and flew east to the base.

While Sodden was flying, he looked down on the land and saw a lot of beautiful stuff. He saw hordes of Stegos walking around, he saw herds of Brontos scattered across the plains, and he even saw the grandest sight, a Titanosaur walking around. “Whoa. The Ark can be a lovely place sometimes.” Sodden said. The pteranodon screeched in agreement. It then saw something then screeched in fear and flew down. “Whoa! What happened? What did you see?” Sodden said. The pteranodon whimpered. “Hey. I’m gonna go look.” Sodden said. He took out a spyglass and saw a group of Gigas walking through the valley. They held a large orange flag on the tip of a Giga’s head, who was in the front. He managed to get a clear view of the flag, but when he did, he yelled and immediately hopped on his pteranodon. He flew as fast as possible back to the base. “They’re going near my base. Okay. As long as they don’t find anyone on Nudon there, we should be fine.” Sodden said. He saw the Theri death flag and it meant Nameless was roaming. Sodden needed to hide his buddies in case the group found his base.

Chapter 13 is going to be real C.H.A.O.S

Back in the good old days when my most advanced piece of tech was a primitive stone axe, I was desperate for hide and meat, and I saw one of those suckers on the beach and I thought, so what, it’s a pathetic herbivore, I have a stone axe and cloth armour, I’m indestructible.

Just wanted to big up my iguanodon (skippy) she just saved me from a pack of 4 raptors. I was about to die after being surprise attacked and BOOM Skippy comes barrelling through and wrecks them all. She’s a total babe.
