Seriously broken. Don't use! Or use with extreme caution and only use the Hunt and Retrieve! They ignore your commands, do whatever they please and more often than not just fly off aggroing everything. This piece of a shit seeks to destroy you, wild or tamed.

"No hunt" means this bird goes on Aggressive when you whistle anything for any other dino - EVEN IF it's on passive AND ignore group whistles. An Ichtyornis on passive and any of the Hunt settings might suddenly go on neutral just because. "Hunt" causes it to go attack any dodo or fish it can find - so they usually get lost flying too far or they aggro something stupid.

The last Ichtyornis I had attacked a bronto right next to my newbie base and got almost all of my tames killed and half of my base destroyed. I've seen them attack turtles, paras and moschops, too, not accidentally. So I wouldn't be surprised if they actually would attack brontos just for the fun of it.

My first ever time make meat jerky, I accuired 25 and was over the moon until this spawn of Satan robbed all 25 from me. I set my vulture Mr. Burns at him and he dealt with him in quick time, all seemed good until Mr. Burns harvested his corpse ended up losing them all😭

Can’t be carried by a tuso, quetz, etc. but can be carried by a human. Logic?

You have to tame a pego by letting it steal berries from you but to tame the flying pego, you need to knock it out. THEY ARE BASICLY THE SAME ANIMAL! WHY CANT YOU TAME THE FLYING PEGO LIKE A NORMAL PEGO, IT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE!!!

Apparently this things can somehow eat giga eggs like really I had to with 1005 melee how can a bird eat a egg that is 6x its size sat two

Do not think that these things are by all means friendly because they are not i was taming a dimetrodon on the center and this lil bird ran up on me and stole all my narcotics

One Crossbow+Tranq will take it down.

When taming bring lots of tranq arrows. For ichthyornis level 1-15 I suggest the wooden bow, 16-30 crossbow, higher levelled use darts. Why use different weapons? It is a prime example to each ranged weapon can have more or less damage, be careful as the next dart/arrow that lands a hit might kill it. I find bola kind of works but isn’t enough to get it on the ground. Make sure you lure them to land because they aren’t immune to drowning.

Keep in mind that you will need narcotics to keep them under for taming.

On default attack/aggression settings it’ll attack very close dinos when on your shoulder. If you told it to not follow, picking it up and putting it down makes it follow you again.

While they are annoying thieves, they are really good pets.

Watch out for them! Their stealing thing isn’t a lie! I tested it out and they took everything (except for my skins) then killed me!

I think you should try to tame this as an water pt it has decent weight and Regens Stam on water also great at fishing

These guys take so long to tame! I made a server with 99% taming speed an it still takes like an hour to tame a level 8! Upvo.te so people see.
