Tame a low lvl one then once its tamed use it to get raw prime fish meat from Coeleths and tame a higher lvl one

Super low HP, so tranq dart is best. Optimally, find it when it's walking on the beach, then KO - annoying as hell to shoot while flying with ANY server lag. Kibble-less tame is possible but you need to watch its torp. Also - it's small, so remember where it is!

When it lands bola it so it can’t fly off. Use tranq darts because arrows may kill it, but a club works for low level birds. Very slow tame with raw fish, so either make pego kibble or use prime fish, which can be gathered from a saber tooth salmon with a sickle. If you can’t get one to land, you can try to shoot it midair with the darts or the bola, but they move in odd patterns sometimes, and may fall in the water. If you kill all the fish near it it will decide to land. After you get your first, prime fish will come easy for the higher level ones.

Every time I try to tame it it dies

If you tame one and sic it on a dodo or a fish you will get Prime meat from it

To bring it down kill the surrounding fish BOlla it tranc it tame with fish

Once tamed, use them with a sickle to tame Hesperornis and Baryonyx.

When taming, put narcotics and kibble (or just fish) on a nearby Dino or chest under treetops not too far from the shore. Then, collect berries from bushes as you walk to the bird. They’ll agrro on you, and they can only steal the useless berries you got before (also Ark devs, make it so when they eat narcotic they stole from the player, their topor goes up. It’s realistic, and will make our live much easier) bola it when it swoops in, hit it with a club or something, and boom! Tamed.

It took 1 tranq arrow with crossbow for lvl 5, but I wasted about 25-30 tranqs in the process. So have about 40 tranqs and a crossbow.

Take spears or a pike. You seriously won't hit this thing with a ranged weapon

Put ALL YOUR DINOS in passive, because this thing dies SO MUCH EASILY and them, tranq them, and feed.

If you see one stay away they just steal all Ur food and when u have no more food they smack Ur weapons out of Ur hand you'll find them in Vikings bay

Like pego's they prefer to steal items in the last slot, so I have with success had a split stack of berries whenever I travel around these thieves; they'll steal 3 berries I care nothing about. Berries are dropped from dinos you kill as well, so I recommend just sticking a few on the bar if you see them around.

They will steal your narcotics and eat the whole stack without passing out.

They steal your food even all you have on you is an egg, fertilized or not!

These numbers are very off. The kibble gives 1% so rather then the handfull it clames it is far more. Only raw prime fish seems acurate.
