Best way I’ve found , bola and tranq then fence foundations around 1x1 with 3 walls and the last use stone fence I was able to pet through the fence FYI once unconscious it will take a while to “pet tame” as it won’t wake so easy take food and water

Make sure your walls are tall enough, mine jumped out and off a cliff. RIP, 2019-2019

Loyal little cuties! You don’t need a taming pen, just make sure you have full health before approaching, as they will attack if you have 50%. Crouch and approach one, pet it, then move backward and wait 30 seconds. Make sure to get rid of any dinosaurs nearby that may cause aggression, because fights will spook them. You can’t tame the alpha, but once you have the rest of the pack tamed, it will lose the title and become tamable.

Make a 3x3 with ceilings (foundation in two opposite corners) and make it so u can crouch under the ceiling. Put fence foundations there and walls. Put a hatch on top to finish, once ur hyena is in. The fence foundations can be interacted thru but not at agro.

It gets spooked when your trying to tame it near your tames

Any taming pit will do just wear a ghilie and have no large tamed dinos around. Don't run, simply crouch and don't stand in it's face. Easiest chrapest tame ever.

I lured a pack of 4 into our large taming pen with an argy then killed off all but the alpha, proceeded to follow it around petting it, got a 135 fairly easily doing this

Place a foundation and 3 walls leaving 1 side open. Place a hatch frame on top and 3 walls high on top of the hatch frame each side. Now drop in a puppy put on your ghilli gear, crouch then stay under the hatch and pet away

Yep pick the alpha bring it back to trap and pet it now u own the alpha of a pack. In a pack of five they can destroy therizionsaurs

Use wooden fence foundations and trap into a corner/cliff then use window frames to be able to pet though and walls on top of the frames place pillar so able to put a ceiling on the top so no escape, use another fence foundation to cut the section into halves, then you can have one side to pet them on, can do away from cliff but harder to trap, to de Argo fly straight up till out of render and back in, may take a few tries but then tend to not agro through the window, but if they manage to turn round back away slightly

These creeps will come out of nowhere and swarm your unconcious tame at lightning speed, be vigilant.

Make two pins out of dino gates. Just wood. Drag pack leader through one and lock it in. Then drag the rest through the second and lock them in. Make sure to wear a full gillie and you must crouch to them. Recommend a lot of them to destroy anything and get a bunch of meat

Pick one up drop it in a pen then just watch YouTube while being crouched next to it with a ghilde suit on pressing e every 30 seconds.

Easy tame, great for beginners.

Things to note before taking:

-packs of three or more will attack

-the hyena with a glow in a pack is the highest level and is the leader

-they are skittish if there is only 1 or 2

Here’s how to tame:

Fly with your pteranodon or Argentavis to a mountain. Check the lower area of the mountain with trees (not sure if they are at redwood mountain). You will find some. If there are only 1 or 2, use a spyglass to check levels. If you don’t have one, pick one up, check level, and do the same for the second. If there is three or more, pick up the one with a soft orange glow. This is the highest level hyena and it is the leader (packs of three or more raptors also have a leader). Check its level so you know what you’ll be taking and fly it away from the pack until the glow is gone. Now the hyena will not attack your flyer.it may snap its jaws at the flyer once or twice, but it will stop.

Next, take the hyena to an open area. Set it down and a little ways from it, set your flyer down and dismount. Whistle passive for the flyer. Now run near the hyena, but stop when you are getting close. Crouch and sneak up behind it. Quickly pet it, and back away and count down from 30. Stalk it from a distance until you get to 15, then walk closer. You should be able to pet it when you reach the hyena’s back. Repeat these steps for a loyal pet.

The ultimate taming method is actually very simple :

1 : Do a 1X1 with 4 walls high ( no ceiling ) and 1 double Door .

2 : Take anything to grab the doggy and put it in the Trap ( i reco desmodus )

3 : Pet the doggy trough the wall because his head will stick out .

4 : now you are at 70% and will Want to use the desmodus potion to maximize the taming effectiveness , so just open the Door , let him go out , go behind him and use the potion 👌🏻

Congrats , you have now tamed a doggy like a pro with no effort 😎

Pro tips :

1. change settings for the click to be " E " and use a auto a clicker to even tame it AFK .

2. Passive tames are quite buggy , to resolve any dinos who would Never stop aggroing or be scared , use a yuti and fear him , it will reset any behaviour the dinos could have .

No need for ghillie, you can just crouch. Net gun the alpha, and lead the others away so you can pet the doggo

If you don’t have a multiplier just don’t tame

Just pet it like all you need to do is pet it
