It's basic swipe from the ground is rather weak. It's strength comes from being able to dive swipe. To utilize this, you will want to focus the camera on your target and fly above then straight down at the enemy, while left clicking to swipe a claw in air. This does unreal massive damage, potentially thousands of damage.

If you are wondering why sometimes you can’t dive using the griffin it’s because you are opening the map you can dive if you’re map is closed

Best creature for getting wyvern milk and pretty much about everything. Makes all other flyers obsolete only downside is that it can pick up hardly anything bigger than a human or dodo <\3

Get yourself a vulture and go kill ovis, but let the vulture harvest it (you can't put anything in it's inventory, it has to harvest it on its own), and the vulture will keep raw mutton fresh for 2 hours while you trap and knock out your griffin. No kibble needed, nearly max taming efficiency for the cost of a few spoiled meat to tame a vulture.

A Griffin Can carry 2 people At 1 time So when getting wyvern Eggs 1 can easily whip the wyvern egg

For anyone confused why the dive isn’t working it’s probably because you are holding an item in your hand (most likely a torch if you didn’t notice)

There is a valley on crystal isles in the desert called griffin valley go there for a lot

We need saddles for Griffin, they die to fast, only armor that can have is Fatty trait, but will have to level up food, kinda pointless

Great for wyvern egg stealing, you need to master the dive acceleration before trying though. I recommend doing it over water to simulate the lava you would burn to death in if you fail ;)

Other than that with the dive these appear to be completely unmatched as far as speed goes for any Dino except maybe a pure speed galli

Two seater, useful for exploring.

Definitely would recommend getting one of these guys for the fact that you can shoot off the back of this guy. With that being said you can solo tame a quetz super easy with this guy

i tamed a level 95 bad boi and these things SLAP. literally. their dive attack deals 280 damage per hit and you can hit creatures at least twice before swinging back up. immediately get your bonus for killing each creature for your first time and level up stamina, then take on an alpha carno. i got +14 levels from killing a level 90. just keep bumping stamina and weight!

You can stand on these without riding them. If you want to tame anything just stand on a griffin once it’s in the air and shoot the Dino with tranqs.

They do more damage if they are flying quicker, they can kill a wyvern easily.

They give you the option to neuter them but you can’t mate them. Ermmmm help

They slap pretty hard when coming from a dive, killed a spino in to dives
