You must be somewhere between level 85 -90 or above for the griffin to eat and respect you and you must trap the griffin before knocking it out.

The same tame as crystal wyvern, just jump on its back and feed it, see what happens.

If you see the saddle icon click it and feed it allosaurus egg kibbles and no saddle needed and give it pollen dust as a adult to make it mutated

Since u have to be level 75 or above to tame one just absorb some potent dust on mobile happy taming

If looking for griffins looks out for dust circles that is where they are and if you can’t afford a trap use net projectiles :)

Mutton is your best friend.

Shocking tranq darts are super effective for K/O with minimal damage. If you're on Lost Island, harvest toadstools in the Redwoods for easy biotoxin collection

I have so much trouble trying to find one of these on ragnarok If u got some tips please let me know. ps when u do find 1 it's impossibl to get the In griffon trap so make sure to use behemoth gateway NOT regular dino gateway. Up if this was useful ; )

I tamed one on ps4 and I found 2 griffins I tam d one the level 17 the other one died in the water the level 34 it sucked

READ IF YOU WANT A GRIFFIN (The easy way)

Personally, griffins are my favorite tames. I have three and I plan on going on 4 (I’m only 12).

So you’re gonna want 4 stone dinosaur gateways and two reinforced dinosaur gates. Next, set the trap up near the griffin (not too close!!). You’ll set it in a straight line so that it looks like a square tunnel. Now put the gate doors on the last and first gate. Leave them open. Then, get the griffin to chase you!! These buddies have a very large turn radius so it might take a while to get it in the trap. Once in the trap, CLOSE BOTH DOORS AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!!!!!! Then shoot it with tranq arrows (I used tranq but you can use something else if you want). Once knocked out feed it prime meat or just regular or whatever tames it. My griffins torpor didn’t go down as fast as I thought it would, but bring narcotics or have narcoberries with ya just in case. And, BAM you got a griffin!!!!

For name ideas just go to the name idea filter and look for LittleWolf!!!

In Fjordur they are in 10 50 side of map (orange biome) in the mountains near the lake.

You’ll need a lot of tranq arrows to tame them.

In my attempt at taming one I’ve noticed that brontos spawn rather frequently near the lake so prime meat is easy to get.
