It’s really hard to take a high level one without the gear

First go to the desert find a crevasse with a bunch of them go into god mode and fly mode get narcotic arrows and a normal bow it takes bout 5 hits to knock them out and get the prime meat and feed then ride them to glory once done!

Who ever wants to tame these it's easy you have to build four medium sized gates and 2 fate doors just walk in make sure the griffins in there and trap it make sure the gates are good enough for you to walk through it but not the griffin good luck

So we found Dododex to be way way way out while trying to tame a 130 griffin on Rag.. was cooked mutton taming it.. used all the narcs mentioned by the time it was at 72% and the mutton as well.. so.. we lost it

I use god console and level up to 1000 when unconscious it’s take 0.5 per meAt LOL HAHHAHHA

A good way to tame is get a crappy pter, fly it in a trap made of door frames and a dino gate. Run out the doorframe, shut the door while it kills ur pter, then knock out when ur pter dies. Have an argy nearby for defense/ to help if anything goes wrong, and just so you have a mount to escape on if needed.

I have a theory about the griffin instant death... at times I think it’s flying at “breakneck” speed... so if you catch any terrain or another dino on the way, it’s almost instant death

I literally was SO SAD when I found this out.But if your trying to tame a griffin,word of advice (literally),make sure it respects you,bc I've been trying to tame it so many times,and I can't tame the one I SPECIFICALLY WANT just bc he doesn't respect me,and if u don't know how to get a griffin to respect u,is ig get to lvl 95 or higher or wear a gold crown,sorry but that's what Google says,anyway,I hope this helped-user12234612 (I don't have username so I made up for now)
