Griffins are very unique creatures if you have a similar name to a griffin it will show respect and won't fly away when you try to come near it it makes taming much easier nothing I know this because I have 150 Griffins in my Griffin stables and I have 50 more coming this is all from the greatest art player: agent shauryansh

I’m playing on creative on crystal isle and most of the time when I tame a griffin it mostly has over 1000 Heath but when tamed nope it has 50 Heath I think that is stupid.

I was at 2 times taming and it said 1 hour and 15 minutes well guess what it took longer than that

Make sure u trap if before u tame it cause when it reaches high torpidity it's gonna buck it

Build a 3 by 3 stone pillar taming pen that is 2 pillars high. Put one pillar (2 high) in the middle with and leave one side open (without one 2 High pillar) to kite the griffin in. Lead the griffin under the ceiling and into the pillars with a pteranadon (which can fly through pillars) and place pillars behind him to trap.

Griffins are a must-have tame if you can take one down. A great way to do this is with a Tapejara. It can take a decent amount of arrows with precise shots so you’ll need to get in the backseat. Carefully land your Tape near(but not too close to) the Griffin and switch seats; if you don’t play Mobile, you can switch seats when on the ground before shooting the first tranq. When it aggros it will fly off the ground and pursue you, this is your queue to whistle Attack so the Tape can take flight and chase the Griffin with a steady pace. Since they don’t lose stamina while you’re a passenger you can freely shoot at the Griffin to take it down but if you and the Griffin end up in a circle there’s a chance the Tape’s wing could interfere with aim depending on the angle. Darts are good too but tranq arrows work just as well with less materials. Once it goes unconscious, whistle Passive to avoid attacking it and switch seats to get to where it lands before carnivores do; where there are griffins there are usually dangerous animals so don’t get caught lacking when taking their prime meat to feed it. It helps to kill a few snakes and use a good quality pick to store the meat. It can take a while for the Griffin to eat so keep watch for raptors and other threats while eating for the hunger to drop. Bio Toxin adds a little more torpor than Narcotic but is perishable so a bring about a stack of it to keep it unconscious until completion. It also helps to bring some cooked meat so you quick-heal the Griffin if it lost a lot of health during the arrows. If you used a Tape to tame a Griffin then change that button pls and thx

Make a 3x5 taming pen 3 walls high dino gates on either end and a door. Use Pter to aggro and Griff will chase you inside. Wait till it shut dino door and open and fly through reg door with Pter. Shoot with TOX arrows from open doorway. Balm, griffin kibble and use 1 bio everytime torpor drops down 80 from full. GOOD LUCK

Build a stone 5 by 5 1 stone Dino gate tthen with pillars build to the top of the gate then fill top with ceilings and put a door on the gate frame. Then run through get the griffin in and then run around and close the gate. I suggest using a rifle since tranq arrows will possibly kill it

There fast so you'll need a a to or argey to get em In the trap and the trap it can break wood and thatch abviously thatch anyways do stone or if your a pro metal trap them then if use tranq starts anyway but you don't need it but I'd still use it make sure your argey or pt has a lot of health cus that Griffin beast bozo literlly does tons of damage btw tip how or get jobowa how ever you spell it lol you can also use ragnarok instead is scaroched earth because there's a desert in rangrok the end I hope I was hellful and I hope you become a ark master
