This is how you tame 1. Get an artifact and tribute to get soothing balm 2. Knock one with shocking tranq darts 3. Feed it prime or raw meat 4. Terrorize you buddies base with you newly obtained griffin. Why in this order because if you don’t do it in this order than it take 7 hours and 700 bio toxin I learned the hard way

On mobile they take Allo kiblle but on console and PC they take the extraordinary kibble which you can get from wyvern eggs

Ark Mobile- You need there Respect to tame so either your above lvl85 or wear your crown. You add your balm and tame with allo kib.. takes forever. Then again tame same house (last two letters) opposite sex, breed to get your egg and make griffin kibble feed the cannibal it’s own kibble for the effective tame.

Be ready to spend a few hours taking it u don’t have kibble and use allot of narcotics

When taming Griffin on Mobile. It is long and hard. You need a female and male with corresponding names such as if one ends with Grypron and other is Grypran then it wouldn’t work, since —on is different than -an. So find another with -on. Basically they need same name to freaking mate

If you use tranq arrows don't rapidly fire them space them out by counting to 5 from when you hit it

I play on mobile and the taming effectiveness drops to quick I am feeding it a lot of allo kibble but still no tame please help

Allosaurus Kibble required.

1) Build a 3x2 stone foundation base

2) Surround three of the sides with stone doorframes

3) Put a stone gate at one of the sides

4) Cover the ceiling in stone ceilings

Griffins does fit trough a Dinosaur gate. Just build a place as big as the gate in length and height and you will be okay. Must be 2 to trap it one distract it and one to close the gate.

Prefers allosaurus kibble... Then mutton then uncooked prime... I have Seen some really cool taming pins on YouTube that work for trapping it... Just have to be fast because they are easily the fastest flyer now...

When you knock them make a trap similar to one you would use for an argent or trapping a wyvern but this time use Dino gates.

Griffins eat mutton, also kibble and prime meat only

My server is on 2x taming. It took me 11 allo kibble and around 100 narcotics as well as around 79 tranq arrows. Has no headshot multipliers. Suggest bringing extra material just in case ;)

Allosaurus kibble is best for taming, you may wants to pen it as they will fly away on you.

Use a taming pen as you would to tame an Argentavis. Find your Griffin and trap it. As you keep an eye on it's Topor have a friend slaughteri an ovis, as there is an abundance of them on Ragnarok. Took about an hour with raw mutton for a 145 on 1.5x

Doesn't require a saddle, expect to use a lot of tranqs. When flying, aiming down causes the Griffin to dive for extreme speeds and slam into the ground.

I created a 4x10 stone pin, 4 high, 1 solid (wall), 3 doorway (wall, no door), 1 solid, stone doorway, repeat. Seal that roof! You should have 3 stone dino gate doorways total. Open all doors. Use a ptero with decent stamina, argo Griffin and allign yourself through the gate and lead it in (I used rare flowers to keep it interested). Have a friend close the front gate while you sacrifice your ptero to close the last (leave middle open). Trapped and occupied Griffin!

It was lvl 74 and took 70-80 tranq DARTS. Took about 40-50 pieces of regular raw meat. Needed about 300-350 narcotic jars. Took about 90 minutes (tame x5).

I grabbed the pin idea from a youtuber but mine’s smaller and does not use electric doors. Keep a small distance away from opening while shooting at it.

Best way to take them is to make an enclosed taming pen that you can lure and trap them into. Trying to tame it without one is a rough task. Because once they get to a certain amount of torpor, they fly away very fast. Making it impossible to catch up with them.

A good idea is to get an egg farm of lystros as lystrosaurus kibble is used for diplodocus kibble that is used for allos then you use that allo kibble for the griffin. Easy way to work your way up the ladder to get you lots of griffins and allos for PvP.
