Captered a level 56 (after gaining 17 levels due to taming success). Was super excited, but this thing is honestly pretty disappointing. Not as fast as expected, the stamina depletes insanely quick, and the melee damage is laughable. Also a very tiny payload. I have a level 250 something Argy that ive been leveling up for awhile, and it would destroy this. Still stoked that i finally got one, but damn.

How many tranq arows for griffin

Pretty stupid if I am being honest. These things are really dumb and pathetic. They take literally hundreds of tranqs. Don’t waste your time on these worthless things. Get a pterodon instead because their attack is spot on and they are faster. And also guess what, you can bola said pterodon AND knock it out with a fist! WOW I know! Also Griffins are disappointing. They make look so fast and cool, BUT they are really slow, slower than a peleganornis, they waste your time, and 100% of the time you will die or you will kill it trying to tame it. bring stacks and I mean STACKS of tranq bullets cause I shot a lvl 180 griffin 270 times and I had to punch him to knock him out

If you dont whana do a trap you should use harpongun and net projects its very easy then. Highly recommend using raw muton! Hop its useful

When I trapped and knocked out a griffin, even with a 10x soothing balm, it's taming process is really slow,

I had to use all my narcotics and biting just to tame one💀💀

Literally, for me, one raw meat gives 0.8% taming for griffins💀 even with the 10x soothing balm

Your a NOOB if your not using one while taming gigas

Hello! Today we're gonna tame a griffin!

So the materials most likely (bc I haven't tamed one myself) needed are: Crossbow or bow,tranq arrows or shock arrows (not sure about the shock arrows but yeah),meat (your choice,I don't suggest fish,it most likely won't do much and is a waste of time),4 stone Dino gateways,2 Dino reinforced gates,and that should be pretty much it. So what will be reviewing today will be the trap method,if I could just afford the name change pass thing I'd have like 7 griffins already I think 😭,but anyway,how to make the trap: Step 1. Place the stone gateways in a line like this | | | | , Step 2. Place the gates at the ends like this | | .Also make sure to put spaces between the gateways,but not big enough to wear they can glitch out or can escape without having to glitch.I say that by experience,that's why my sweet angels are dead 💔😭.But aside from that,the trap is now done,get flyer or go by foot,I suggest fast flyer (like Pteranadon) cuz that's how I lure mine,once you get griffins attention,make sure it's following you ever so often bc they might not be able to keep up (this is if on flyer,tho if u put all points into speed then maybe you want to do this too),after the griffin gets close to the cages gates,like infront,run/fly to the opposite direction,then when far enough run into the trap bc griffins like to circle around,and to make them beeline into the cage this step might be necessary unless you have your own tactics you'd like to stick to for this step.Once the griffin in trapped quickly close the side yall went through and exit throught the wall holes (or just go out before closing).Make it respect you,cuz if it doesn't,when you get it unconscious,it won't eat,once again im saying this out of experience.Search up ways to make it respect you if you don't know how.But now to knocking it out,shoot the griffin with your arrows,wait 7 seconds between every shot or else you'll kill it.then after it's unconscious (probably after about 20-30 arrows I think) shove some meat down it's throat and then boom,you've got a griffin!

Don't use crossbow, I almost killed mine doing that on a level 145

To tame use a net gun and either shocking tranqs or tek bow use extraordinary kibble and boom tamed a wicked beast
