You need to use TRANQ DARTS after the griffin nerf.

if a griffin does not respect you then you cannot rode it

On mobile you cannot tame these unless you are a higher level than 85, i knocked one out and said it didn’t respect me and it wouldn’t let me tame it :(

Step one: Spawn in.
Step two: Make stone tools.
Step three: Accidently agro a griffin.
Step four: Pray to Thor for a quick death

They can fly through open stone dino gates so build a taming pin with that in mind to make it easier to tame otherwise you will be chasing it down alot.
