If you want a charging station for batteries, you either find one or put a battery into these guys. Try to trap a bunch of them in a enclosure and you will have a charging station next to your base. A substitute choice, just make a base next to a charging station

It is perfect for harvesting Cementing-Paste with an Beelzebufo, as there are loads of them all over the Map :D

I got a stone box full of these glow bugs and when I need charge I they give it to me and they recharge eventually and they’re in my base no more charge nodes

Great way of getting chitin if your not ready to kill a karkino

Gives 500 Charge IF you have a Light Pet on your shoulder OR Non-full Charge Batteries in your inventory.

Note you can only collect Charge IF it’s night time OR a dark enough area AND meet the first 2 requirements.

Collecting Charge also triggers “Spaz” mode for the one collected from and others in a small radius around it.

Gives you charge and is a safe and decent source of chitin

You can put them in a wood cage. Hence free light. Just not sure if or when they despawn.

Other tip said "chiron" meant to put chitin (auto correct).

Capable of being pinned down by a raptor for an easier kill since once you hit them they scatter rather quickly. Good animal for early game, loses out to crabs (chitin) and charge stations (batteries) late game.

put. charge pet on your should IEbulbdog,featherlight,glowtail,glowhorn. and press e on the bug your pet will take up to 500 of the bugs charge a charge batery in your inventory works also.

its also a good early game chitin and meat.

Just get a frog to kill them for free cp
