How to tame a gigantopithicus:

1 Grab some berries

2 Sneak behind it

3 Shove the berries up its ass

4 run away so it doesn’t aggro

5 rinse and repeat until it is tamed

I have found a way put it in a small cage and when when it aggressively attacks open the gate and let it calm down and keep taming

You can only tame it by feeding it all of your dinos

Most stuff can kill it. The crossbow with the narc arrows have a 76% chance killing it if it's a lvl 100

Pick up with Argentavis. Then place it in a stone 2x2 fence foundation Box no roof and feed Titanoboa kibble

Go up behind it with berries in last slot ... PASSIVE TAME !!!

All you need to do is crouch and give its butt berries or Titanboa kibble to tame.

On Mobile, I tamed 2, near the redwood forest, one failed because i got attacked by a Lvl 200 Terror Birds. Tried again this time with walls and spikes...success...now its harvesting fibers for my tribe, instant 15k fiber in an hour. UPUPUP

This guy is a passive tame found in the redwoods. I recommend using titanboa kibble.

It takes 1min 25sec to feed wi5h menos on 2x. Not 45sec.

Pick it up with a wyvern and land while hovering above ground (sometimes I needed to back up a bit) it should get stuck which makes taming just a matter of time

Put mejo berries in the last slot onyour quick select. Sneak up behind them while crouching and feed them the mejo berries. Try keep a distance because if they turn round and Aggro you're dead.

Put them in a pen and wait for it to de-aggro, being a level above them while feeding them berries is usually the easiest way to tame.

Put 1 preferred kibble in your last slot approach and crouch behind him/her feed kibble when prompted. 1 kibble for my level 52 and she was mine. Have fun!
