Easy giga taming tip for mobile players only :

Step 1 : find a giga (recommend to find one on a mountain they spawn near griffin mountain a lot)

Step 2 : because it is really hard to trap it on mountains kill it and take it's implant

Step 3 : go to a obelisk and build a trap around it

Step 4 : get 50 bio toxin

Step 5 : revive and knock him out

There you go

(Bonus tip) - if you don't have enough amber to revive one just get a griffin and tame it while sitting on the griffin

For a normal giga it takes 500 tranq arrows and 75-175 tranq darts

Just WHY is the tamed stats MUCH WEAKER a than the wild ones.. other dinos as tamed are normally stronger..

This made me not want to tame it….

The best way to knock them out is with a club! They get down after a few hits!

Four metal signs work to trap a giga, but you HAVE to place it a flat ground. It will escape if the signs are uneven.

Also, don't even think about trying to tame a high level giga without a ascended crossy or longneck.

Why is its torpor rise as hell when tamed?

The ground shakes…. What’s that sound? Well my friend, it’s a Giga and today I will teach you how to tame one of these beasts. But first here are some cool facts about them:

•Giga’s on Pc have a rage meter that increases when they get attacked ( I don’t think mobile gigas have them >_<

•They are the strongest Dino’s that you can tame!

•Wild Gigas have a base health of 80,000 while tames have only around 17,000 ( not cool Ark devs)

Let’s start you will need to pack:

•5 longneck rifles ( in case on breaks) or 5 crossbows

• 500 tranq darts or tranq arrows or shocking tranq arrows

• Around 200 Bio toxin or 550 narcotics

•100 regular or around 20-50 prime meat

[plz note that you might need more tranq darts if u use them]

Trap method:

• 10 stone foundations • 20 Stone gate ways • Bethemoth Dino gateway

Pillar method:

•15 or 20 stone and or metal pillars [ gigas are tall!!]

•Same amount of ladders as pillars

Trap method: How to make the trap

First, Place all 10 stone foundations on a flat surface

Next, place all of the doorways but leave a small gap between them. Leave room for the gate way

Last, place the very fat gateway in between the gap you left for it. Lure the giga into the trap and close the gate way. Knock it out then tame.

Pillar method: How to do it

First, Place all of the pillars on the ground then put the ladders on it. Climb to the top and hit the giga with the tranq ammo. Gigas tend to run when they’re getting close to being knocked out, so follow it until it’s knocked out. (They have very high topor)

Don’t be fooled gigas run away if they can’t reach you, so I recommend a spy glass to check on its topor.

If your taming a giga use shock tranq darts and trap it with metal gates it will take a while and you might have to tranq it while it is unconscious and your prime meat to tame it hope this helpful

-Get a cave spooder/athropud

-sume iron gate

then ride le spooder/athro come near le gigan if it attack sumething dont come near

If not come near it while sit on spooder/athro neck put four iron gate around it

Tada now just sleep and then shoot it until it have a good dream

I don’t know what the big fuss is about about making traps for these. Can’t u just get flying mount that u can shoot while flying like the griffin and just follow it. Even if u are getting low on stamina go to a place where he can’t reach u and regain stamina. I actually don’t know if I’m wrong or not because I’ve never tried it but this is just common sense.

This thing is crazy. And dangerous. And crazy dangerous. But I'm gonna tame one. Who's crazy know?

A wooden club to knock it out and some narcoberries to keep it down

How to tame a giga:

Find a giga (they spawn at Mountains)

Knock It out with tranq arrow or tranq darts

There torpor drops really fast so make sure to feed it narcotics or bio toxin

Feed it raw meat or raw prime meat:

Enjoy ur giga

tip for beginners, these are easy to find and are passive, it's a great first tame

go on, charge at it with a bola and 3 tranq arrows, that's all you need. (you will not regret it)

When your giga is out only and only use meat it is good to bring and argy, and a griffin. I hope this helps also use bio toxin.

I was able to find o e and take it in under 10 minutes.
