Super easy tame, only takes 1 punch to knock it out. Dododex is 100% lying when it says these guys need meat or kibble, they eat stimberries. Oh also since stimberries give such a good percent you dont need to worry about it waking up trust me :).

To tame a giga just get a wyv with lots of stamina and health just in case then make it follow you put it on passive then fly above giga get off wyv and shoot with tranqs. Like if this helped

These creatures are very gentle, what you have to do to tame it is slowly walk up to it, get out a big slab of meat, and gentley fee... DONT LISTEN TO HIM, PUT A BEAR TRAP IN FRONT IF YOUR FRIEND AND RUN

When encountering the giga unless on a fast mount or bird can lead to devastation. Use extreme caution and pray to the ark devs that it won't notice you.

With the ability to use weapons on certain mounts being added very soon, I'd say the best way to KO a Giga is to mount a raptor or another fast mount with some levels into movement speed and stamina and shoot tranq darts as you run away from the giga chasing you, you should be faster and in theory this should become an easy tame.

Four metal signs work to trap a giga, but you HAVE to place it a flat ground. It will escape if the signs are uneven.

Also, don't even think about trying to tame a high level giga without a ascended crossy or longneck.

For a normal giga it takes 500 tranq arrows and 75-175 tranq darts

IMPORTANT…

If u force feed it cooked prime meat the taming bar actually goes up.

U gotta use at least 10 cooked prime meat for a 0.5 increase. but it works GREAT if u have like 200 prime meat. Idk if they patched this I think not but I do know if u have a Griffey it gives a HUGE taming buff probably like 2x

Warning-this thing wakes up fast make sure you have a lot of narco berries
