Don't fret too much about the torpor decay. It's actually not that bad even though it's scary when you look at it. While the decay rate is incredibly fast. The recovery rate of narc is extremely slow comparatively. So while you'll have to rush it to drop you tranqs, wait until the torpor is quite low (I've been told 100 but I don't trust my lag as much so maybe 1000 before pumping it back up) you'll then have the easiest time in the world to tame it as you'll easily have 2 hours before you need to come back and put him to sleep again.

Make no mistake the difficult part is actually putting a ko on the creature. If you got two player the cheapest way that'll work is to have a person on flying mount hoist his buddy with a grappling hook.

Bring spare weapons with misses and the crazy torpor decay, the estimated number of dart to take him out is wishful thinking at best.

Solo, make 4 metal Dino gate + bear traps.

Want to tame a giga? You came to the right place, first get some tranq darts about 200 and an extra gun 1 or 2 usually i tame em at white ob mountain so grab a anky tamed or wild and use it as bait go to white ob and start shooting for the rocks and knock it out once knocked out tame with raw prime meat and feed about 50 narcoberrys in ark torpor goes up gradually not in a cluster so bring around 200 happy giga taming!!! have fun!

How knock them out? A patchy with 100000000000 health

Okay, your only hope of knocking this calamity with legs out is by running it through a gauntlet of tripwire tranq traps while hurling shocking tranq darts at it. I would even go as far as saying just use the about twice as many tranq arrows you would need just because there is no risk of death(lol) and you would have better fire rate, it would just take longer. BUT according to here, this industrial excavator with teeth loses torpor at a ludicrous speed, so maybe if you just made dang sure not to miss, you could forgo the fire rate and use the shockers. Maybe run it through a gauntlet jumping over the traps so that he hits a trap, you shoot him, he hits a trap, shoot, so on and so on… pray to Ark Jesus this works…

For every dino.....get the torpor more than half...but dont knock it out..after that sleep for 7hours..and walla food 0.0%😁😁🤜🤛

Fairly easy to tame, just walk up to it with some large animal feces in your last slot and feed it a few times (it's a passive tame) and you have yourself a giga, massive animal feces instantly takes it lol (this actually works btw)

Bring lots of tranqs or else it with run

Me and my tribe mates just got a large bear trap and flew around it with one of us on the ground tranqing it. Try this if u want to. Have fun🙂

When wild has 80k ish health, drops down to inbetween 16-18k when tamed, but if you still want to tame the gigger, just stuff it with tranquilizer darts from a 150 plus gun, feed mutton, if you want to trap it, use small metal gates, do NOT use anything less than a good gun! Guys the feeding of giga is easy....but,the problem is ....... THE KNOCK OUT OF GIGA .cause if U miss one shot you will lose all torpor progress.😑😑

You can find them in banna land south even though it says easy it really isent go to syntax channel and you should see a boat go to the valley area and you will almost gurante see 1

This isn't a tip I just need help. So I caught an orange mutated Giga on Ragnarok Female and tamed it. But for some reason it keeps building torpidity up and down and as a matter of fact it fainted twice already.

(I have already 11 other tamed gigas the server admin hasn't limited what can be tamed or not cause we just vibin.)

What is going on?

1. Locate giga

2. Set up giga trap far away (tek or metal Dino gates in a u shape with large bears traps inside)

3. Put a bed down near by because you’re probably going to die

4. Approach giga. Shoot giga (shocking tranqs and ascendant long neck rifle. Bring lots of tranqs and extra rifles incase of them breaking).

5. RUN. Run towards trap

6. Giga becomes trapped in bear trap. Place the final Dino gate behind giga making the giga trapped completely.

7. Stay a good distance and shoot. Pray that your giga doesn’t glitch out of trap and eat you.

8. Giga is knocked out. Feed proper food and narcotics if needed depending on server boost level. Pray that nothing or no one kills your unconscious giga.

9. Congrats you’re a giga owner

Gigas are definitely more powerful as wild Dino’s versus being tamed. They are still amazing though.

To tame a giga just get a wyv with lots of stamina and health just in case then make it follow you put it on passive then fly above giga get off wyv and shoot with tranqs. Like if this helped
