If your speed ia not enough high to lure giga to your yrap then use argentavis. Pick a dino by arge and the giga will follow you like a pit dog. But keep a safe hight and lure it to the trap..

Here is a tip on how you can easily tame a Giga. All you need is a tranquilizer gun or crossbow and a Sinomacrobs. Just fly over him and shoot. That's all. No trap and no stress.

One of the easiest tames in the game, just a few swings with the club will do it. It'll take about 10 mins with raw meat to take, the saddle is unlocked at level 15, and he is a great beginner mount. Put him on passive flee though, in case dilos get to him.

The Giganotosaurus is no easy tame. Best Way to tame a Low level Giga (4-60) is to have around 2 or more people tran'qing it while someone is driving a quetzal with a platform saddle. Gigas levels 80+ are the tough part. For this you will need as much people as possible, but 4-6 guys is enough. A quetzal with platform saddle is a must have while doing this, while having everyone ( except the driver ) grappling hook to the bottom of the quetz and nail the giga with tran'qs

The Giga is best for gathering hide meat and prime meat it's not to fast but it is very tanky if you were to have one you will not need to worry about running into anything unless if you are fighting a boss do not attack a titanosaurus then you should be perfectly fine. Typically you don't want to fight a boss on one but when I had mine I was able to take on a brood mother then I tried two at once and it was over he got enraged and killed me then soon after died at this point you should not have any problems other than those and getting him enraged.
