If u want to tame this beast. You have two ways

Passibe taming and violent taming

Violent taming:

Find a giga and trap it with 3 metal dinosaur gateways and bear trap in the middle. Lure the giga, it will step on bear. Now quickly put the 4 gate way on the opening side and knock it out

Put food of ur choice and feed it large amount of narcotics

Passive method:

Apply bug repellent(giga wouldn't get agro on insects)

Go to the giga face and feed it a soothing balm(for faster result)

Now u can feed it the food of your choice

But becareful bcuz bug reppelent duration is only 10 minutes

In order to trap a Giga you have to tame a lvl:230 pteranodon and ONLY upgrade:speed & health otherwise there’s a high chance of death.

Used the Axeman’s methods to tame one of these bad boys

Easiest way to knock it out is actually super easy! You only need a club, a bola, a gulilabola, and a dodo. First, to get the gulilabola, you need to throw a bola at a spino, and then it will float back to you upgraded. Now that you have your upgraded bola, you bola the dodo, gulilabola the Giga, and club the dodo to death. Then shut off ARK and go eat dirt and log back on. The Giga will be knocked out and ready to tame! Up so newbies can see.

As an alpha, I knocked it with a bow, at level 70, without any traps. I have proof lol

the only things u need is about 100-200 toxic arrows on a crossbow cause they rapid fire and 5 quetz kibble. then u tame in under 10 min. oh yeah and bring 2 crossbows and a mount

With a good enough rifle and darts, taming is relatively simple, especially if you have a desmodus. Being able to shoot from the back of a small agile flyer and move up/down easily makes KO very quick

Hey if you want to lure a giga in your trap just pick a animal with the help of a flyer go close a nd it will follow you don't use wooden dinosaur gateway it will take approx 245 tranqs

Knocked out a giga with a catapult turret on tge back of my quetz

This method works great for taming! Knocked out WAY faster! Save your tranqs! Not worth the amount of time and resources you use for tranqs!

Use 2 metal dino gateways with doors, 2 metal behemoth gates with doors, and 4 large bear traps to keep it trapped long enough to close the door

Keep just enough space for you to squeeze your character through the cracks

It'll be too busy attacking the structure and you can walk right up to it with a magnifying glass at it's foot

Sit in front of it with your quetz at a safe distance and aim for its head

Feed mutton for quick taming if you don't have kibble, but on most servers, you should let it starve a little first for best effectiveness

We tamed ours on Just Survive cluster Ragnarock on ps4 ^^

To knock it out your best chance would be to charge with A Wooden bat, this would send the Giga into a coma making it easy for you to tame

Easy tame just punch a couple times and use some narco berries

Uhhhhh tried taming a giga, pumped several hundred darts AND ARROWS into it and it did not knock out not come close. My suggestion, bring WAY MORE THAN WHAT DODODEX SAYS!!! Our guns and bows broke before we even finished up our last 200+ arrows that we had left... :(

Be careful when doing PvP with gigas, as when they get to 50% health they will start to kill your other tamed dinos and eventually you...

How to tame this thing

1:let your tribe knock it out

2:let your tribe do the work and feed it

3:clame it as your own and kill the whole fucing server!!!
