All you have to do to tame this guy is feed him two or three of your tamed dodo's and then walk up to him and hit claim. He's yours,

This is an easy tame if you know what your doing. What I recommend is having an argy with plenty of stamina, then pick up tribemate that shoots at it if you have a teammate. If you don't, then build a giant pillar by putting a metal foundation and putting walls in a square around it using a ladder to make it go up high, then grapple up and throw a dodo to aggro him/her and just light em up. Hope this helped :).

When you want to knock it out the easy way is to just put metal dinosaur gates next to it but first corner it then someone places down the gates because if you put stone or wood gates it'll eat it and kill you

If u have a Giga the only thing that can kill a tamed 1 is a wild giga because after a wild giga tames the stats go down. Be carful

Giga's are easily drowned and are extremely slow in water leaving them open for attacks

The Giga when tammed can enrage when it's health goes to far down when enraged it will kill everything near it encluding you and your other tames

Crouching or laying down lowers the chance of the giga seeing you.. but don't trust it 100% when you get the chance... RUN!

When knocked out let torpor drop to 1500 then pump if full of narcotics, this way you can do a little farming while you wait and you don't have to watch it every 3 minutes!

A good method for trapping a giga is to place 3 metal Dino gates in a small square and place a large bear trap in the middle. Lure the giga into the bear trap when activated you have 10 seconds to place a metal gate behind it to complete the square. Then the giga will be stuck. I recommend you have multiple people to shoot the giga with tranqz as the giga loses 200 topour every 5 seconds

Once you find the lvl you want ( go as low as possible if it's your first ever gigs tame) get supplies and I mean supplies! You can never have enough when taming a giga so get together at LEAST 1000 narcotic a few hundred tranq darts and arrows for backup as well as any food source u want to use. Then make a large trap an a few metal Dino gates to make a trap lure it into the trap and surround it with the gates to keep it stuck....then KO it and go through the normal process of taming an animal once you have finished enjoy your new "pet"

Ignore all these metal behemoths traps because they cost too much, use stone behemoths. The gigas can damage the gates but you should easily knock it out way before it can breakthrough, after every tame you can just fix the gates, simple as.

From experience, three key things to focus on when taming: 1.) Always bring 400-500 extra narcotics and tranq arrows/darts. 2.) Never put kibble in a dino's inventory. 3.) Lure it away from any water. When it is knocked out, give it 1 narcotic every 2-3 seconds and every 5-10 minutes, look around and check for any hostile dino's.

When applying narcotics to your knocked out giga use your dododex app beforehand to find out how low to let it's torpor drop to apply the suggested nacortics all at once. Then all you would need to do is sit and watch. it would also be a good idea to have extra narcotics/tranqs you can never be overprepared!

For a low level giga trap it in a circle of stone dinosaur gates, for a high level use metal. The torpor of a giga drops about 200/second so if you stop shooting it it will lose it all. It's possible to solo tame, though the more you have the less time it will take to knock down. You should use darts, always bring a couple extra hundred.

Don't use a long neck to knock it out. A crossbow is much more effective because of its shorter reload time. Using a long neck will waste a ton of tranq darts.

An easy way to tame/knockout a giga is to, craft 4 metal dinosaur gateways with a large bear trap. You place 3 of the gateways in a square shape spread a few inches from each other. Then place the large bear trap in the middle. Then with an argy or ptera pick up a dodo and lure the giga into the center of the gates to get trapped by the trap then jump off and place the last Dino gate in the open area and the giga will be trapped and able to shoot and tamed:)

Do not swim with your giga they do not like that don't swim to carno island may kill it

So the beat way to tame a giga would be to use the grapple hook. It allows you to hang over the giga and keep his attention on you and not other dinos around you. You want to either use a quetz or argy and have a buddy fly it. Also once the giga is down allow his torpor to drop to the last bit and pump him full of narcotics using the amount the app specifies. It will save you a lot of trouble and you can literally go do anything else for a solid hour.

1. Just get 4 metal gates and 1 giant bear trap put them in like a square form the place bear trap in the middle 2. use a flyer vest to use a argy with good speed and health lead it to trap and place the last metal gates and knock and feed it quartz kibble boom you got a giga *use balms if you play on mobile*

If u want to tame this beast. You have two ways

Passibe taming and violent taming

Violent taming:

Find a giga and trap it with 3 metal dinosaur gateways and bear trap in the middle. Lure the giga, it will step on bear. Now quickly put the 4 gate way on the opening side and knock it out

Put food of ur choice and feed it large amount of narcotics

Passive method:

Apply bug repellent(giga wouldn't get agro on insects)

Go to the giga face and feed it a soothing balm(for faster result)

Now u can feed it the food of your choice

But becareful bcuz bug reppelent duration is only 10 minutes
