1. Get a super low lvl Giga (I did lvl 1 cuz I'm a dummy)

2. Quetzal Kibble or prime meat. RECOMMENDED QUETZAL KIBBLE

3. KO Giga

4. 10X SB or higher and shove bio toxin down it's throat

Where to find if you find tall mountains you may see a giga

To tame it just make the classic trap, place 3 metal behemoth gates in a square shape, keep some space inbetween them to shoot from the outside, then place 1 or 2 large bear traps in the middle of the three, make sure to make the trap on a flat area, open one of the gates (it doesn't matter wich one) and lure the giga into the trap, a pteranodon should be enough to do this, make sure to hit the giga at least one, i recommend aiming at the tail otherwise you'll get destroyed with 1 bite, onche the guga enter the trap, it will be caught by a bear trap, you have a few seconds to close the gates then beggin shooting and have a lot of patienece, stay away from the trap, something like 30 m should be safe.

If you play on mobile go to the lava cave at the southeast of the island and tribute the artifact of the massive until you have an ascendant rifle with at least 1000 damage, with this rifle you'll knock out the giga a lot faster and with less darts and you don't have the risk of the rifle breaking mid-taming, also go to the cave at the south of the island to get some soothing balm.

A lvl 150 without soothing balm and ascendant rifle will take more than 500 darts, it will break at least 1 rifle and will take more than 50 prime meat, that's a damn lot of brontos even with a high level rex, and mot of the prime meat will also spoil so you'll have to keep an eye on the giga very often, it will become anoying if the taming is far away from your base, and the giga will also need more than a whole hour to tame, also the tamimg efficiency will decrease and your giga will lose some levels.

if you have an ascendant rifle and soothing balm a lvl 150 won't take more than 200 darts, it will fall asleep a lot faster, it will only need like 6 prime meat, you can get that from a few brontos, stegos or mamoths in less than 5 minutes, it will take a few minutes to tame and the taming efficiency won't go lower than 98% if you take care of it.

Also be sure and I mean 100% sure that you have AT LEAST 1 entire stack of biotoxin (500) or a bunch of stacks of narcotics (at least 1000) in the case of a high level giga. I personally prefer biotoxin, it's easy to farm if you have a good crossbow or pike, even a sword works pretty well.

I tamed one, it was hard, all my pets died, I died, but in the end I have a level 1000 giga

Men don't tame Giga with tranqs men tame giga with horses

I recently realised these guys only take one tranq the trick is shoot your tribemate in the face and run like hell while your friend gets chomped on. Worked for me...

If you see a giga in the wild simply inform the alpha tribe and wait to see if they come over to tame it and once knocked out kill the giga and get quped by the alpha :D

It is way better to tame a high level GiGa than a low level. Tame a bunch of Quetzals (I have 4 that are low level) and farm enough eggs to tame a high level Giga. Stick up on the resources you need to knock it out and keep it down.

You can cross breed with flying creatures to make flying gigas- very useful for harvesting cactus sap on the island - force feed it human feces for a power boost .

Do not face it trap it in a metal dino gateways and in the middle put a large bear trap

I shot 200 tranquilizer arrows into that gurgsplurt with a journey man crossbow and then when it broke, 100 tranquilizer arrows with a bow, then waited 5 minutes and nothing happened! It was level 4! Good luck.

Honestly I have always wanted one of these. Then I found a lvl 10 and trapped him an knocked him out. After taming and build a saddle I took him out and was wanting to melt things but it just didn't happen. I have a decent lvl Rex that can out kill him.

The torpor will run out in about 15 seconds but the narcotics act like jerkey and last ages so if you want to tame him then prepare over a thousand narcotics and give them to him in sets of 50 and that'll give you about 8 minutes till next topup. For knockout have a fast dino ready and stand on a huge rock firing tranq arrows at him. Eventually he wi run away but set up in a place that he will run into the mountian then you can safely keep firing from behind. I did this at level 71 and damn I gotta wait till I'm level 96 to ride him.

So easy to tame. I could even do it at lvl 1. Just run up to it and punch it.trust me just do it. Up for noobs!

Don’t go for them early on go for them late game get tranqs get. Tapejara and get a good amount of shocking darts get a saddle as well one of my tribe members thought they could kill a giga with a griffin level 99 well… the griffin died
