I JUST TAMED MY FIRST GIGA LESS GO BABY

Managmars are very good because of their fast change in direction for luring them into a trap. The easiest and one of the cheapest is 4 metal Gate frames and 1 Large bear trap. Also don’t try to tame them in the open they will just get away and you will lose all the torpor you did. Also bring lots of narcotics they’re torpor drops insanely fast. Finally be careful where you trap them and destroy the metal gates after it’s knocked out or Corrupted Dino’s will come to destroy them leading to lower taming efficiency.

If you feel like taming one, first you must know that it’s not as hard as it seems, it just takes quite a few resources. First you gotta find the one you want to tame and look for smooth terrain and place three metal billboards in shape of a cross and a giant bear trap inside, afterwards lure the giga in and once it’s stuck in the trap, finish the square with one final metal billboard so it’s trapped, knock it out and feed it prime meat or raw mutton if you have it

There are different gigas you can’t breed an “R giga” with a normal one “R gigas” have more bonuses

There is many easy traps, and i will tell you one, all you need: 4 metal dino gates, 1-2 large beartraps first you place 3 of the gates like a U in the direction of the giga and place a beartrap in the middle, then lead the giga into it, but be carefull not to go too near its biting range its big and can kill you fast i use a flyer like argentawis or pteranodon. When the giga is in the trap use the last gate to close him in and you can begin to shoot at him with tranq arrows or darts

1. GET a load of tranq arrows but if your using something else that’s ok

2. Make extras of what your using or prepare anything like that just in case you miss

3. Get loads of narcotics (I brought 600 because why not)

4. Find this big bad Dino around the map ( I found him near the mountains)

5. Get on a huge cliff or find an area (I knocked this man out at The Hidden Lake)

6. Knock him out because this is the reason why this tip is here

7. Put meat and narcotics in it

8. Wait

9. Feed Narcotics

10. Wait more

11. Feed More narcotics or whatever you have

Surprisingly easy....if you have the patience and the materials that is, otherwise it's just pure stress. Tamed a lv10 on mobile within argy, about two stacks of tranq arrows, a mastercraft crossbow, one soothing balm and one piece of prime meat. You don't actually need the metal gates as they say. The wiki has got a ton of viable methods but the easiest one is still climb a rock. More specifically the gigantic rock at the southern edge of the north-west snow biome on the island. I've seen two gigas spawn there and it's rather easy to lure them to the giant rock and start tranqing away. You need to have the giga on the side close to the edge of the map and slightly higher up the mountain than u would be if u walk off the rock. It works since there is a lower point on the rock that allows a giga to think ur in range when ur in fact too high to be bitten and so will keep attacking instead of running. When it's topor get high, (i recommend bringing a spyglass and check it's torpor occasionally and be prepared）When It turns and flees, hop back on your argy(or quetzal or griffin if u have one.) Then give chase. If your position was right the giga should get no more than a few steps before getting stuck on the mountain ridge. (It only worked on the second try for me so save ur progress before tranqing!) Then it's just a matter of a few more shots and u can get on to taming. (Bring soothing balm, if u don't have one then bring plenty of narco berries to cope with the giga's lightspeed torpor drop.)

Just build a trap even if you haemorrhage resources *cough* metal ingot and cementing paste*cough* *cough*. I basically grinded my Ark Life away just shooting all sorts of tranquilizer ammo (arrow, toxicant arrow, darts and poison tranq) just trying to tame a level 85 and lost my sanity. My argentavis barely survived and when I downed the beast I lost my mind… I love this giga now but… please just do it with a trap…

Why does the giga picture on Dodode look so cool but the actual Giga in the real game especially on mobile look kinda weird?

Well your dead if you try taming a high level like 140 or something 😅😅 try using traps or something please don’t use wood or thatch you can use stone but I think the giga will just break out but if you have tribe mates you can use shocking trangs but umm just use metal PLEASE!!!!

Bring over 300 narcotics and mutton and if over lvl 100 bring like 450 - 500 Tranq darts and trap it in dino gates

Tamed a level 130 r giga with a mountain and about 5 crossbows and a lot of tranq arrows

Love how I click on tame tab and no real advice like how many shock dart for a giga I get the 4 to 5 metal gates and bear traps but how many shock darts
