Even if you somehow manage to knock this thing out beware of its 1-3 minute timer in which it will wake up. It also has such a high torpidity drain that feeding it plain narcoberries will just make the torpidity pause instead of increase. Get ready to spend all you time making narcotics.

Speaking of Gigas I know a really good way to get to high Lvl in a instant. If you tame a giga just go to the wyvern canyon and juggle a egg between your inventory and the Gigas. Then the a wyvern will attack you then just hit the munch button. *level up available!*

I made the wrong decision by thinking it can’t reach me on top of a behemoth gateway boy was I wrong it was a lvl 120 as well!!!

If you try to trap it on uneven ground there's a good chance Dino gates will not hold it due to its height. Clear rocks, or find flatter land. Last resort is metal behemoth gates, but if you do that make sure you intend to reuse it with the amount of resources it costs.

Prepare yourself first. Bring tranq darts or arrows more than is recommended on dododex, I learnt this when my tranq darts ran out for a lvl 55 giga after shooting more than 300 tranq darts although I did miss a few. Also use a high tier bow or longneck and bring at least 400 narcotics.

Don't forget to trap it, they are extremely fast and don't chase them too close if they manage to escape your trap when they are nearly knocked out.

Place three metal gateways the a large bear trap in the middle lure the giga in then quickly place the third gateways tranq then feed it (tip :if you're having trouble finding a giga start the hunt giga pursuit and it will give you location of the giga)

How do I kill them!!! Man they killed my argy and that’s a level 10 I want a lvl 50+! Please anyone how to kill them??

If you are on mobile here is a tip for you

Craft 4 big billboard and then craft a 7 giant bear trap place it on flat surface and also kill all the carnivores around you so i it won't disturb during your taming procession, put 3 big billboards around, and left some one big Billboard on your hotbar then put the 7 giant bear trap, if you have trapped the giga on the 3 billboards with 7 bear trap go patch the last billboard. Warning! If the torpor of the giga are almost full he can flea away but it won't hurt you instead he is the one who would be scared. Fact☝🏻.big billboards won't get damaged for some reason and it's important for trapping any dinos. Sorry for my grammar just trying too help😁

Materials -

4-8 metal billboards

2-4 bear traps

Design - you want to put the bill boards in a square so one infront of the giga, to its right, left, and behind. Place 3 bill boards like this |_| and 2 bear traps in the trap, then lead the giga to the trap and put one billboard behind it. Then just knock it out and tame it.

Tamed one with just raw meat and only 2 pieces of prime took me so long bruh my iPad was 100% and then it was 28% like what the hell bro also I found another giga next to it that desapwned 5 seconds late I saw 2 female giga chilling at the obelisk sadly the giga I tamed was female too.

Build a trap using 1 behemoth metal gateway (and gate) and 5 smaller metal gateways arranged in a semi-circle pattern with the smaller gates curving around the behemoth gate. Place a large bear trap towards the opposite edge of the behemoth gate.

Lure the giga into the trap. This is way easier said than done however… The Giga is very unpredictable in its attention span frequently switching targets to another wild dino, it also has unpredictable pathing and sometimes struggles trying to walk around large rocks. Furthermore… The Giga is incredibly fast despite what appearances might lead you to believe, it can easily chase down an Argent and most other dinos not leveled into movement speed.

I advise luring either with a movement speed focused character (use mindwipe tonic and pump into around 300% movement speed), a Galimimus (DON’T GET HIT!) or an Argentavis with at the bear minimum 1,500 HP (The Giga deals 500 damage base with its bite and can attack twice in a short span of time, if you get hit begin flying up and out of reach). Lure the giga into the bear trap and run behind to seal the gate while the Giga is stuck.

Bring plenty of shocking darts and either multiple primitve or a single high quality longneck rifle. The Giga has extraordinarily high topor so it will take a long time even with sustained fire to knock if out.

It isn’t over yet… The Giga is a problem even when KOed. It drains topor really fast and you need to come prepared with stacks of biotoxin or narcotics and carefully watch its topor. I advise starve taming for maximum taming effectiveness and using Exceptional kibble to cut down the time it takes to tame.
