If you raise one make sure you have a cryopod and something to get a lot of meat I is only a pain in the arse for the first few hours

If you want to increase your giga health so you have to breed and imprint it .

How to tame a giga (The island map):

Bring:

-A lot of arrows or tranqulizer darts (Max lvl needs 853 tranq darts)

-Sooting balm (Recommended) (If possible bring a 15x or 10x sooting balm)

-Taming foods (Recommended its preferred kibble)

-A lot of Narotics/Biotoxin (For me I brought 200)

-1-2 Large bear traps (Optional)

-4-5 Metal Dino gateway (Optional)

Taming with trap:

Find a giga. They usually spawn on high mountains. Try finding them at the artic or Far's peak. Set your trap,Use 3 of your dino gateway and a large bear trap in the middle and make the trap like this: \_/ . Get the giga to aggro on you and lead it to the trap. Take your final dino gateway and close the trap. Now, Shoot it with arrows or tranq darts. When its' knocked out, Feed it the recommended sooting balm and kibble, or use meat if not possible. Keep an eye on its torpor and feed it bio toxin or narotics if necessary. Wait for a while and you'll get it. Make sure to protect it to while its being tamed! Goodluck, Players!

I haven't tamed one yet, but here's two ideas how to do it safely

1: Common Trap

Outrunning a giga on a mountain is near impossible ehile shooting tranqs, thankfully us human beings aren't stupid. Gather 4-6 Metal dino gates and either ride a dino and place them ehile giga is standing or lure it inside (suggested use beartrap to hold it in) afterwards, just fire away!

2. Cliff Hang

My original plan was to use a Tapajara and hang on a cliff while shooting, so when topor run occurs, I can grapple on it or use Quetzal trick to KO the giga. Not sure if this idea works, but worth a go if you don't have metal gates.

TAMING GOOD FOR DINGLE PLAYER

Quetzal Kibble or raw prime meat are literally your only hope, along with over 100 narcotics or bio toxins. If you have a soothingbalm, it'll definitely take care of timespending.

Get the high ground and dart it

At the Highlands on Ragnarok, if you see a giga, try luring it into a cave at the river where there is a small pond. You can lure the giga inside it and it will be trapped. From there, just pump it with tranq arrows. Alternatively, you can shrink the size of the pond by putting stone gates so the giga can't move much. After you're done, just cryo the tamed giga or build a ramp so it can climb out

to tame a giga in ark mobile you need Quetz kibble.I recomend using prime meat if you dont have kibble... For knocking out I recomend using shocking arrovs they are made by using arrovs(normal) and bio tocin.

All I’m going to say is if you are using a crossbow is bring a spare cross in inventory and pack hundreds of tranqs I had to re-trap and shoot five times because I would run out of arrows or my crossbow would break, save yourself the trouble and prepare. If you have a mid check the narcotics.

I sent All frogs I had 100 then I had 1 frog left this was a 155 giga

Idiots just grapple on a cliff and parachute then shoot 20000 traq arrow if it don’t work it’s pissed so just give up

I recommend having an Argo for a flier to get this guy. 10x soothing balm(you may not have it since wrong device). 20 - 50 large bear traps. For the tranquilizer to work and him not to wake up. Try shooting him with Tranq arrows when he’s down. 7 behemoth gateways. And lure him into the trap. Make sure he doesn’t get out of the bear traps. I recommend using 6 or 7 bows. If you liked the info. Hit the button facing the sky /\ If you disliked the info. Hit the button facing underground \/

Tamed using the metal gateway method w/ beartrap. Biotoxin is incredibly useful. I crypoded my equus to take with me in case I needed emergency narcotics. Traps are a must for solo players.

Never tame this thing without a trap and kibble.

Would recommended a quetzal drop ship to tame or kill for its maneuverability

Taming this is not easy better use smooting balm

What me and my friend did to tame ours was he carry me on a argentavis and fly abit high so he can’t eat you and shoot tranq darts at him (took us about 300)

A good way or my way of taming a giga

First, get a ascendant Longneck.

Second, get some tranquilizer darts.

Third, get 4 metal gates to trap the giga and some bear

traps.

Fourth use soothing balm if your on mobile.

Fifth, use an argy to find one ( they usually spawn up in the mountains or on flat surfaces in the mountains

Sixth, use prime meat, Queztal kibble ( on mobile ) or, regular meat.

And abracadabra you have your self a giga Goodluck on trying this method.

I use 4 metal dino gates to trap. Put 3-4 in place of choice (clear carnivores before in the area), leave a gap for giga to enter, then put 1-2 bear traps in the middle. the last dino gate put once giga is in bear trap. i use thylacaleo to lure giga in the trap. thyla is fast and decent hp, put some points in both. i just took lvl 150 on official pve server down with ca 300 darts and 257% longneck. bring everything 20% more than adviced here just in case. put see sleeping bag. once giga is down surround it with 15 wooden spikes but check giga torpor meanwhile, it starts dropping 400 per second. let it drop half then spam narcotics. you can dosm hundreds, check dododex and put more just calculate that 100 narc will up torpor by 4000 so u need it to be half or something to spam all narc in and then sit down and relax. if u have it surrounded with spikes. i put also thyla on aggressive to keep animals away from me, they will probably not attack wild giga, but you. i also bring wyvern and put it on agressive and in turret mode then it will not fly away. good luck!

Honestly I was so scared taming my first one yesterday and all you need is a good long neck rifle I used a mastercraft 190%, I used raw mutton in a preserving bin and carried about 700 narcotics but only feed him like 400. Easy giga tame
