I went to the blue obelisk when one of these beasts appeared. I saw that… it was a 10 or a 110 or 1 level I don’t know. I was so scared I just flew as far possible with my 187 pt black pearl. Now I have 1 trike 2 rexes 1 argy and 1 theri plus anky and all those stuff. I have its trap and I have the crossbow. Tomorrow I’m gonna see the level if it’s worth taming. If it isn’t I’ll drown it if yes I will tame it. I have metal gateways and a 10 soothing balm (I’m in mobile). If anyone sees this I have a few questions:

If it’s a low level would it be worth it? Like level 15?

How do I drown it?

Last but not least: HOW FAST WOULD ANOTHER ONE RESPAWN?????????

Here are a very easy taming method bring 5 metal dinosaur gateways and a large bear trap lead the giga in it to trap 3 metal Gatways in front than place the other two gate ways at the back of it but keep distance ones trap knock it bring a crap ton narcotics and bio toxin doesn’t matter what level it is but bring like over 500 tame it with raw prime meat or meat but quetzal kibble will work better but the most important thing is KEEP A EYE On ITS TORPOR since it’s torpor drops at a very fast rate this only for Ark mobile players than you have you very own giga to level this kill every creature that give the most exp the saddle for this thing is 96 hope this help Last thing if do not know where to find one than look for in the ice mountain on the island or the mountain where you find metal and crystals keep in mind they spawn in 1-2 per time

Dododex said I need 3 exceptional kibble to tame one but the kibble only increased it 1.5%. Don’t waste your time on kibble, find a sheep nearby and use mutton.

How to tame a giganotosaurus.

1 you need 300-400 to tame a giga.

2 you need 3 metal gates and 1-2 big bear traps.

3 you need exceptional kibble or raw premium meat or raw meat and raw meat is going to make it take days in ark to tame it with raw meat and also exceptional kibble will make it take less days in ark and also raw premium meat is a bit better than raw meat.

4 now wait 5-10 days in ark for it to tame.

5 now you have a pet giga to flex on your friends and I hope that this tip helps you to tame your first giga ✌🏻

Without soothing balm I still used 200+ narcotics- feed about 15 or so and if taming with prime meat, stash a raptor somewhere so you can go harvest fresh prime meat while you know your narcotics are holding the line- they drain FAST.

Prepare before hand always have way more Tranqs than needed and have help and build metal trap

So, I just solo tamed a giga on mobile while I was level 75. Pretty easy, it just required lots of resources. I lost a tapajara and an otter in the process.

When I finally knocked one out, it’s torpor started dropping down hella fast so I had to keep feeding it a lot narcotics and bio toxins and I ran out. So I started running as fast as I can. Always bring a lot of bio toxins, narcotics and other that can keep it knocked out.

I got every thing to tame a giga but I found no giga and I'm scared to do it

I tamed mine by completing hunt dilo mission (which gives you soothing balm). Then I Went to the two snowy mountains in the north. then I shot it with a crossbow With toxicant bow arrows. it only took three meats to tame with the balm and 200 Bio Toxin ( feed every once and a while th Toxin) for you beginners out there or teams. And I highly recommend a tamed Diplo or brontosaurus to follow it when it’s tamed(reinforcements, clearly)

Make sure to trap it. It will get bored easily and go eat another Dino.

If you see a giga Place 3 metal gates with a large bear trap in the middle and then lead the giga in and when it gets trapped place the 4th gate way so it can’t get out then start knocking it out!!!.

Tip on conserving narctotics for this guy: Let his torpor almost completely drain then use a few hundred Narcotics. The time it takes for the torpor to refill and drain again buys you a lot more time.

Also bring a decent carnivore to source raw prime meat on the spot so you don't waste time or taming effectiveness, futher decreasing the narcotics needed.

Some of you don't see it yet.. But tranq harpoon gun 300 TORPOR shock tranq also work

At the Highlands on Ragnarok, if you see a giga, try luring it into a cave at the river where there is a small pond. You can lure the giga inside it and it will be trapped. From there, just pump it with tranq arrows. Alternatively, you can shrink the size of the pond by putting stone gates so the giga can't move much. After you're done, just cryo the tamed giga or build a ramp so it can climb out

If you raise one make sure you have a cryopod and something to get a lot of meat I is only a pain in the arse for the first few hours
