Tip on conserving narctotics for this guy: Let his torpor almost completely drain then use a few hundred Narcotics. The time it takes for the torpor to refill and drain again buys you a lot more time.

Also bring a decent carnivore to source raw prime meat on the spot so you don't waste time or taming effectiveness, futher decreasing the narcotics needed.

Giga gives very low damage to metal structures, so using a metal gateway or billboard will be a great idea.

For people who want a giga: Gigas require hundreds of tranqs so be prepared!(You also need a trap.) And remember a giga can 1 tap you so be careful,unless your experienced.

5:if youre taming it with trank arrows you are gona need from 250 to 400.

You can use stone behemoth gateways as I did you will tame it when it gets half way from breaking the gateway I recommend stone as the metal will be a waste of metal

If you want an easy way to take a giga… All you need is 3 Metal Billboards! (For mobile) Run up to it and wrap the billboards around the Gigantosaurus! Then knock it out! Giant bear traps are plenty useful to keep them still! The Billboards are too small for the giga to attack so it’s a win win!

A lot of tranqs!

200x Jellyfish Toxins or whatever it’s called..

And all the meat you got!

USE METAL DINOSAUR GATE because gigas can’t break metal structures

Make a trap shaped like this (spaced out) _

Then place two large bear traps (or more) | |

Then lead giga into trap, then quickly place| |

The last Metal (has to be metal) gateway and boom its trapped! Also gigas are most commonly found by mountains! Hope this helped!

I tamed a 450 giga on fars peak! Took 500+ tranq arrows with a 469% crossbow in 2 hrs. Super worth it! I had to reset my save 3 times bc I accidentally killed it. It one shot my griffin with 5k hp!!! Pray for my Dorcermu! 😭

Taming (5x) to a LV145 will required roughly 460 Shocking Tranquilizer Darts and about 150 Narcotics. I guess the app is not accurate at all. So good luck to tame one of those...you need it ;)

You can humiliate/tame any giga with a sinomacrops(Lost Island) which has at least 2500+ stamina.

To tame u need 5 metal doors, 2 large bear traps. It breaks threw stone so dont be cheap! Also it's fav food is not prime meat it's raw mutton. The wild gigas have more hp then a tamed, also they have a gnash attack like a ravager. For a high level u will Need about 800 narc arrows, 200 narcotics just to be safe.

If you're using primitive weapons bring a few!!

4 metal gateways.

1-2 large bear trap.

Tranq arrow, lots of tranq arrows, a little more than what you decided.

Few narcotics or biotoxin,few more, I mean take free more, feeling encumbered.... You are ready.

Patience... Take a deep breathe level of patience...

Soothing balm or a decade of your life.

Prime meat or quetzal kibble(mobile).

Guys I used a quetzal with a platform saddle on and it worked a dream!! It only took 10 minutes to get the guy down but I also had a tribemate shooting shocking tranq darts too

use narcoberries not narcotics when taming as the torpor stacks better over a longer period. also when knocking out be sure to bola your tribe mate first

Easiest way to knock them out is with a Tapejara and a friend. One flies, one shoots tranq darts out of a longneck rifle. Bring way more darts then dododex says, bring kibble and at least 400-500 Narcotics no matter the level.

Naa me not tame giga. today me go tame giga with 150 tranq aroow- a normal person who's English is very dengerous.

The giga is a ferocious creature you need about 500 tranq arrows to knock down a 135 make a metal trap and then knock it out with a tranq gun and shocking tranq darts.

Use exceptional kibble.

If you want to tame a giga just bring a lot of darts whit a good rifle and trap it using 4 metal gateways and a couple of large bear traps try to trap it in a box (first set up something like this using metal gate ways in a shape like this |_| and place the large bear trap in the middle and try to get the giga into the box the large trap will stop the giga form moving for a short time giving you a chance to trap fully so you can start to knock out the giga it can take up to 250 darts for a lvl 300 if mobile and only for a low lvl like 1-50 it can take up to 60-90 darts when you knock it out you have to place A TON of bio toxin or narcotics to keep it a sleep because it torpor go down like FAST and by fast I mean FAST so you have feed it narcotics or bio toxin a lot (if on mobile use a balm best using a 10x balm that you can get form the hunters tubule there not a 100% chance to get balm for the hunter tubule but there is a good chance to get a balm) and use prime meat of if you can kibble well when tamed they get a big nerf because they lose most of their health and a lot of damage so they are weaker but quite useful for raiding and attacking bases so I do recommend to try tame them on a PVP sever or a PVX sever on a PVE sever they are not as useful but they are still a good tame….)
