Taming these things are a pain (even in creative mode). I was once messing around on The Island, I thought “Hmmm, I think ima tame a giga the official way”, I pummeled it with shock tranq after shock tranq, I even had an ascendant rifle, it took waaaay too long to KO, then, its torpor drained way too fast and I couldnt force feed it narcotics fast enough. It woke up and I just killed it.
Me and my buddies were having a quick hunt with our army of dodos and 1 rex each (there was 3 of us) we all went to uh somewhere... Then we all get lost the next thing I know I'm standing in front of a GIGA! I think my friends are dead and da dodos the rexes tryed and... Failed rip Bob,jim and Jimmy Bob. Ps if u find a human body in a sever it'll be me and mah buds.lol
So I was tryna hunt one of these bad boys because I was sick of having no giga I went arpund everywhere on my argy to try and scope one b4 I tamed it and I cannot see one so I land for stamina and I just realised there isn’t a charger in this gigas stomach so I’m about to cut o....
I have only seen a giga once,here is the story
So I had literally kept player damage 15 and dino damage 0 and lived in herbivore island I thought I was the strongest entity on the map, the only thing I died to was stomps and fall damage and nothing else, I went to the frigid islands to get some oil silica pearls and kill kikarus for polymer, when returning my boat got stuck between ice and I had to make a new raft and boxes to keep my goodies,I saw a fight close by between mammoths a yuty and 3 rexes, I thought to third party them and make som fur and hide and then I will destroy a local tree and gather bushes for wood and hide and thatch, I swam from my raft and got close by and saw one of the rex was not a rex but a giga, I did not know if bleed damages me and I might die from stomps , and taking the time as the giga yuty and rexes were trying to kill the mammoths swam back to the raft and got to another place, farmed the required things for a raft and some boxes, got out of there and safely reached the herbivore island, as I am writing this, I remembered that the mammoths were not taking damages from the bites, and I might have been able to kill them,but I am not sure as one stomp from a giga can kill me , and if I wanted to kill it, I would need a ranged weapon so as to not get too close and get stomped

But then you begged me to much,
Then I said “fine I’ll give it a touch”.
I sliced it with my sword,
But then I said “oh lord”.
And then it killed me,
Then i realized how bad I can be.
So one time I was riding around with my beautiful pack of wolves thyclos and my one rex in the winter biome looking for a giga to add to the boys. Well I found one and I thought huh only level 50, I’ll take it!
Me: surrender
Giga: how bought I eat you for a midnight snack
Me: realizes I forgot tranques, well guess I’m going to have to kill you
Also me: gets clapped
So In the next hour I show up with my level 223 spino, and I find the a giga thinking it’s the level 50 giga... it was a level 150
Me: you took everything from me
Giga: I don’t even know who you are
Me: you will
