If you ever see one run like crap in the other direction unless you have 20+ trexes with 40+ levels or 12 level 1 tamed gigas and that’s just for level 1 wild Giga. Don’t mind trying to tame them because they lose 63,000 health and do 400 less damage and it takes 40 tranq darts to knock out 1 and to tame with kibble you need 40 narcotics to keep sleep. Wild level 1 Giga is 80k health and 480 damage per bite. Tamed level 1 is 17k health and 80 damage per bite. One benefit is that they can break metal structures if in pvp. Hope this information will help you realize how strong gigas are.

Met one of these on my 212raptor when i was a few mnths into ark.managed to run away through the trees and slow it down.met one again a few weeks later. . . .not on my raptor.it used me as a tooth pick.12mnths later tried to take one down on my L.wyvern.wyvern got killed and it did very pornographic things to me.avoid this freak with teeth until your properly ready to tame it.

If you see this you should probably run but you can’t outrun these so travel with a tame

If you have the god console you craft a bunch of toxicaint arrows and metal bow you can fly up to his back and start Shoting him and eventually hill have to go down

If it’s level 11, just kill it. I did it

Here’s what you do.......DONT EVEN LOOK YOUR WASTING YOUR TIME

In my personal experience, killing these guys is pretty easy if you have the right equipment. You can use a good pump shotgun (mastercraft or ascendant) and just pump these guys full of lead until they die. You can do this off the back of a griffin or by trapping it using metal gates. Weaker shotguns will also work but you will need more ammo. Killing gigas with tames is almost never a good idea since the giga deals a lot of damage and gives your tames a bleed effect that drains a percentage of their health.

Thise massive creature does not agree fast, but they can be cryo podded into a boss fight.

When you see a wild one of these they are friendly and you can pet tame them👍 It will only take about 10 pets with 1 minute intervals in between

Fiance and I tamed a couple rex’s, had our level 105 argies following the rexes on the way home. Ran into a wild level 89 giga. We both got killed, as did our rexes, and our argies. Maybe two hits each for everything. These things are so OP in the wild. RUN if you can. RIP Snow, Jolly, Fanta, and Rexie :(

Well, I tamed a level 25 giga in the end it was a level 36 giga i made a saddle and got on him, we started walking and it took him 1 minute to run what takes my raptor 3 seconds to walk. Tamed gigas are crap he is now over level 100 and he is terrible with all his stats even health, fast creatures my butt, he only need up doing 145 damage at max level! My bronto does almost 2,000 damage and she's only level 123! They need to be stated up. I feel like they have recently been nerfed to crap. Please up this so we can have a giga worth taming!
