Your best bet is to get a griffin and knock it out I tamed a lvl 219 like that still some of my griffins died

These should be able to pick stuff up

Tho that would make it the most OP dinosaur in the game rather then the stuff it can pick up wich the stuff I would want it to be able to pick up is anything smaller then it but not it's own kind.

ok we were taming one and it was almost tamed at 58 % ,full of narcotics and we got attacked by something and it just woke up and killed my team mate??? anyone know why this would happen

If you are with a tribe mate tell him you wanted it so you knock it out

If you encounter this on solo player bola yourself and run!!!.

If you encounter one in an argie fly as fast as you can. And to attack one be up one a ledge with a lot of ammo.

Gigas will be wild when they are at half health.

If ur a big tribe carry one in a cryo that is neutered or spayed so u have a pocket giga if u die they can’t breed them so it’s just for pvp at that point

If seen Run or fly away as fast as you can and don’t underestimate them they are insanely strong even low level I died it was level 7 but like 90000 health

I literally regret sacrificing my ascendant flak chestpiece, gauntlet, leggings, and my flak helmet when trying to kill a level 20 giga... i thought it'll give thousand of exp.

Im really angry for the developer/s of this game because when youre giga gets hurt it will attack you and everything around it

At first I didn’t know how strong these monsters were so I took my 245 spino to kill a level 24 and with in 10 hits it wiped me out so I watched a video and learned that they have 80000 health so a year later I tamed one then I tamed another then another until I had 9 the highest level one was a 129 so I tamed one more and I was lucky it was a level 104 when it finished taming it was a 178 so I went on the hunt which all of my army of Gigas and found 3 wild ones at the same time I killed them but 7 died my 178 killed two so it got 10 levels my now 188 gigs and 129 and some how my level 76 made it I was very happy until I figured out you can’t take them to a boss fight

throughout my entire time playing ark I haven’t ever encountered a giga until now, and let me tell you it did not disappoint, in fact I was terrified. That thing almost killed my argentavis who was 10 times it’s level in 1 bite, so let me make this clear, ABSOLUTELY UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU EVER FIGHT THIS THING UNLESS YOU ARE 100 LEVELS HIGHER THAN IT

If you find one just get it to fall of a mountain it can’t climb then get on top and shoot it

Or trap it in metal doorways
