To the guy who lost his job and his girlfriend I feel you but my giga has 1,100 melee it 2 shots some brontosaurus

A carcharo with 100 stacks and 250% melee can take one down but you'll be left at less than half health but if its 300% you'll be left at more than half

Ok so while trapping one can be effective, it's not technically necessary. If you stand on a ledge on a mountain that's too steep for it, it'll just stand there looking into your eyes and longing to feast upon your flesh as you make it go sleepy

When i wanted to help my friend taming a giga him : 10 minutes thats too long it was an lvl 159 giga so i did it alone.

I used 5 small metal door gate frames

2 large bear traps

A crossbow on 357.2%

231 tranq arrows

Beware Gigas get nerfed once tamed so if tame try taming a lvl 140+ or whatever is max lvl wild spawn in your server a 20 giga have around 80 k health in wild and will one shot your dinos but once tamed will be reduced to 17k health and superless attributes like 400 stamina which is total shit

Oh yes you do need to be faster than the Giga, it eats you right after it eats your slower friend...

On mobile, they rage but they don't actually att ak you or your tames. I live below a cliff and my giga fell of and her eyes glowed but she didn't do anything.

When wild Gigas are tamed they lose about 80% of their stats.

Just dont try it unless prepared

I built 12 metal gateways to trap this thing. It was a waste. Please don’t be like me

400hp and full armor still 1 hit me?

I tamed one 135 lvl with metal traps, leveling is very disappointing

Health 18 000 + 16 per lvl

Stamina 400 + 4 per lvl, also, slowly recovers

Attack 155% + 3% per lvl

But it's massive, pretty fast and powerful, so it's still worth taming, just don't expect too much

This this would be friggin awesome if it had a fear roar like a yuty.

I’m about to go tame my first Giga. My idea is to hop on my Quetz with a platform saddle, dismount and stay on the saddle, and shoot at the giga until I’m able to knock him out. Hoping this works

How to do the kill giga quest

1. Tame a quetzal

2. Get a platform saddle

3. Get automatic guns and stuff to power it up

4. Put guns generator and the other stuff you need on the platform saddle.

5. Get bullets and put the bullets in the guns

6. Find a giga.

7.Go somewhere where it can’t get you like in the sky or on a mountain

8. Turn on everything

9. Watch the giga die

You have completed the kill giga quest

Search YouTube for ‘Captain Fatdog Giga Trap’. It costs the fraction of the materials of a typical gate trap and is way less risky. Just a few metal pillars is all you need. Fatdog traps are the way to go!

I didn’t know what category to put this in, but since it has to do with the giga raging, I’ll put it in encountering.

A TAMED GIGA WILL STILL RAGE ON YOU IN MOBILE.

I just tested it by jumping off a cliff, because I wanted to see what happened when it raged.😭 it kicked me off and chased me, so led it to a trio of brontos, which it killed immediately and then it proceeded to rid the land of all the other wildlife. I went up high until she stopped throwing her tantrum and went back to my base.

Also, those glowing eyes are freaky. I hope this helped.

If you're low on metals or want a trap that doesn't cost too much then use metal billboards. They work the same as metal gates and basically just cheaper. Be sure to use large bear traps tho.
