Really easy if you have a good crossbow and 3x or 10x soothing balm. Then knock it out wait two minutes and feed them prime meat.

Items needed to kill a Giga: 2 Pairs of Flak armour (2 because just in case one breaks), about 100 medical brews, Shotgun with alot of ammo, crossbow with grapple hooks, and stews (Optional because they increase stats for a little time but I really recommend them): Enduro stew which increases damage, Battle Tartare which increases damage and gives a little damage resistance and increases health regen, Broth of Enlightenment because it just increases xp gained by 50% (Suppose you get 250xp by killing a creature when this is consumed, then you will get extra 125xp) Now to kill it: If you ever find it, and want to kill it, then remember: Always wear Flak armour and bring extra in case it breaks. Then grapple hook at the Giga's body between it's central body and tail, just a little closer to it's tail, then get your shotgun ready and kill it! If your health gets low just in case, then drink the medical brews. Hope this helps you.

If you place down metal dino gate the Giga will be attracted so you can go on a griffin or a clif and keep shooting

Build yourself a taming raft fully metal and big enough for big game, gigas can't destroy metal so it's easier to do that way...that way you can travel to the giga and have all the supplies to get it and then go back to base...easy as that

Bring +100 more darts then it says for high lvl gigas. Lost a 150 because I didn't and I came back and it despawnd. (Brought 520, said it needed 450)

to tame a giga you will need preferably shocking tranq darts quetzal kibble (mobile) metal gate ways and lage bear traps and bio toxin or tons of narcs and tame helper (optional). step one1 build the trap, you will need 7 metal gateways place them one at front another one next to it but diagonal then place another one to your left on the diagonal gate then go back to the first one you placed and place another gate to the right of you then place another gate next to the one you just placed and in the middle place the lage bear traps and have the 2 other gates in your hot bar (best dinos to use for luring in are galimimus (ik i spelt it wrong) griffin, spino, maybe allo, good speedy raptor or dear) now get on your tame and lurer it in and place the other 2 gate behind it and head shot it if you can then once OK you wait 30 seconds and then pump 100 bio toxin in to it then put the kibble on then pop the tame helper in if you brought it and u will have your self a giga hope this helped!😃

Took about 300 Narcotics, 35 Bio Toxin, and 11 meat WITH A MINOR SOOTHING BALM. Remember that you can’t request these guys home and you HAVE to ride them home. Or go the hard route and walk it home like I did. I found two females on the middle mountain and tamed the LEVEL 18 GIGA. Keep that in mind.

I used a five bear traps and two metal gates, two pointed away from the wall, the gates as close as possible to it, and then led it in with my argy. RIP Grey. But I did sneak up behind it and placed the gate.

there is a trick which i do in mobile is to get a little close at this but not close the giga was trying to bite me but it can't and i succesfully tame one but doing this just get the right distance i hope this works

You will need a second base to breed these bad boys. Keep a few of each gender at each of your bases as well to be safe. But NEVER leave them out while your offline. They can be used to raid your base from the inside by getting their health to 20 percent

Easy and cheap way to tame (recommended to level your speed and use high quality rifle or shock darts. Maybe bring a creature to defend yourself in case something goes wrong)

First grapple it’s tail or upper leg. Reel in as far as possible and switch to tranq weapon. (Don’t grapple too low or you might get killed by trample damage) Shoot it until it flees. Once it flees, the grapple will detach. Chase it down and shoot it quickly. It’s torpor drains very fast so if you don’t shoot it fast enough it’s torpor will drain and it will turn around and attack you. Once knocked out, put some meat in it and shove it’s face full of narcotics and it will eventually be yours.

When they take to much damage from anything but flamethrowers there rage heart fills up if it goes up all the way it will turn on everything and everyone but if you want to use it to your advantage for wrecking someones stone base then I suggest using very high level melee dodos and have back ups just in case. Also never attempt to knock one,out in rage mode they will throw you all,the way to the border of the map also I feel like it should but it would be funny,to watch a giga get wrecked by 5 dodos and giga dies and all dodos survive without dyeing that would be funny with even the alpha king titan as well.

Build a wyvern trap with a gate and stone pillars. Use 2 crossbows with approx 150 tranq arrows (w/ lvl 15 giga). Stay in aggro zone but don't come close. Lvl 15 giga has around 18k torpor but will deplete in 2 to 3 minutes. Use narcoberries NO NARCOTICS this doesnt last as long. I reccommend 800 berries (farm with trike) and around 6 prime meat. 50 food eating interval!! No starve!!! Just feed feed feed en keep an eye on torpor

Use shocking tranq darts its take avout 100 or about 150 to knock out a levels150

That’s where you find em I found a lvl 4 AND A GIRL!! If you don’t find one just walk around whiskey peak I found mine on the trail to the blue beacon currently knocking it out!

On Valguero at about 50,31 you can build a behemoth metal door at the ruins and it'll take care of the rest of the trap for you. It's at a giga spawn in front of the loot cave.
