If you keep turning and biting the beginning of its tail you can kill it with an argy. Note that it will take a while and you will need to fly away when your stamina gets low or it will be one nasty way to go.

This thing hits extremely hard.I recommend you use a trap for it

Is there a bug about taming on mobile that I use 150 shocking tranq darts on a lv 52 giga and still didn’t knock it out? His HP went from 80,400 to 70,000 just by my darts!

I've been playing Ark since 2017 on console. The easiest way to trap a giga is with 4 metal billboards and a large bear trap. You place 3 then the bear trap, then lure it in. You have to be quick because the bear trap only lasts a couple seconds. Place the last behind and start tranqing. It's a giga so use dododex to see how many tranqs you will need. You will also need a TON of narcotics. Only take high lvl males and any lvl female, because the baby is more likely to inherit the Male stats. Last but not least do not think you can take on anything with a giga. All it takes is an alpha carno to get stuck underneath you and you hard work is down the drain. Wild gigas spawn with 80k health but when you take one it goes down so you cant kill gigas with gigas.

Make a giant metal container with a revival platform in the middle kill the giga you want take its implant and revive it then tame it like that

If you come across this make sure you have a crossbow and another with atleast 50% durability and toxicant arrows and shoot it if you don’t have all that Slowly walk away scream loudly smash berries in its face grab a bola and toss it at the nearest animal then run in the animals direction because you hate it and want the Giga to crush it then you’ll die cause there was a 0.5% chance you have toxicant arrows on whiskey peak annd all the other requirements.

If you encountered one of these dino of terror run or fly 2 miles away they spawn in mountains lucky for me they are rare and i live right next to a cliff not a mountain

After taming, giganotosaurus without imprinting is weak. You can tame and breed tyrannosaurs much faster and their stats will be much higher. The 150 rex of the third or fourth generation with imprinting can fight off a pair of tamed giganotosaurus. But wild giga is stronger than everyone.

Get all your buddies on a quetzal platform saddle with shocking tranqs. It’ll agro on the quetz and y’all light that sucker up

In extinction if you want to fight a boss I recommend you go to the forbidden zone were you battle king titan the forbidden zone has loads of corrupted creatures even corrupted gigas you can farm corrupted gigas and wyverns and Rex's and possibly reapers and rock drakes well I think recommended gear is an enforcer the level 200 or higher. They do 4× the damage to corrupted creatures also make sure you have a tribe mate or tribemates with you dont go alone that's suicide because of the huge amount of corrupted gigas. Up if you thank me for telling you this if you didnt know.

Even if you somehow manage to knock this thing out beware of its 1-3 minute timer in which it will wake up. It also has such a high torpidity drain that feeding it plain narcoberries will just make the torpidity pause instead of increase. Get ready to spend all you time making narcotics.

Speaking of Gigas I know a really good way to get to high Lvl in a instant. If you tame a giga just go to the wyvern canyon and juggle a egg between your inventory and the Gigas. Then the a wyvern will attack you then just hit the munch button. *level up available!*

When using a pet giga careful when it is on low health because it will turn on you and you are as good as dead.....yeet!

If you see a giga just RUN! The other option is death.

This thing is INSANE. it does a lot of damage and on top of that, it does a bleed affect. a strong bite and a bleed affect!

That’s just horrible and it almost ended my quetzal and my argentavis.

If you try to trap it on uneven ground there's a good chance Dino gates will not hold it due to its height. Clear rocks, or find flatter land. Last resort is metal behemoth gates, but if you do that make sure you intend to reuse it with the amount of resources it costs.
