You need atleast 400% movement speed to outrun the giga

Usually they spawn at the five northern peaks( whitesky Peak, Frozen tooth, Fair's peak, winters mouth, grand hills). Search with a flyer so that you don't get stuck between rocks when you encounter one. As of battling. Don't engage them when you're not equipped properly. Best to attack on top of a Griffin or quetzal( for quests find a low level). Hope this helped.

I've been playing Ark since 2017 on console. The easiest way to trap a giga is with 4 metal billboards and a large bear trap. You place 3 then the bear trap, then lure it in. You have to be quick because the bear trap only lasts a couple seconds. Place the last behind and start tranqing. It's a giga so use dododex to see how many tranqs you will need. You will also need a TON of narcotics. Only take high lvl males and any lvl female, because the baby is more likely to inherit the Male stats. Last but not least do not think you can take on anything with a giga. All it takes is an alpha carno to get stuck underneath you and you hard work is down the drain. Wild gigas spawn with 80k health but when you take one it goes down so you cant kill gigas with gigas.

Make a giant metal container with a revival platform in the middle kill the giga you want take its implant and revive it then tame it like that

If you come across this make sure you have a crossbow and another with atleast 50% durability and toxicant arrows and shoot it if you don’t have all that Slowly walk away scream loudly smash berries in its face grab a bola and toss it at the nearest animal then run in the animals direction because you hate it and want the Giga to crush it then you’ll die cause there was a 0.5% chance you have toxicant arrows on whiskey peak annd all the other requirements.

This thing is INSANE. it does a lot of damage and on top of that, it does a bleed affect. a strong bite and a bleed affect!

That’s just horrible and it almost ended my quetzal and my argentavis.

If you try to trap it on uneven ground there's a good chance Dino gates will not hold it due to its height. Clear rocks, or find flatter land. Last resort is metal behemoth gates, but if you do that make sure you intend to reuse it with the amount of resources it costs.

Prepare yourself first. Bring tranq darts or arrows more than is recommended on dododex, I learnt this when my tranq darts ran out for a lvl 55 giga after shooting more than 300 tranq darts although I did miss a few. Also use a high tier bow or longneck and bring at least 400 narcotics.

Don't forget to trap it, they are extremely fast and don't chase them too close if they manage to escape your trap when they are nearly knocked out.

Place three metal gateways the a large bear trap in the middle lure the giga in then quickly place the third gateways tranq then feed it (tip :if you're having trouble finding a giga start the hunt giga pursuit and it will give you location of the giga)

How do I kill them!!! Man they killed my argy and that’s a level 10 I want a lvl 50+! Please anyone how to kill them??

It's a hard and expensive tame but it's worth it

Is there a bug about taming on mobile that I use 150 shocking tranq darts on a lv 52 giga and still didn’t knock it out? His HP went from 80,400 to 70,000 just by my darts!

They’re extremely docile and most likley never attack just go up to it and pet it for insta tame make sure your other creatures are around before hand it loves friends

To prevent your giga from taking fall damage, if you happen to fall of of someplace high, just dismount it before it hits the ground. Zero damage to the giga and it doesn’t enrage.
