The easiest way to knock these dinosaurs is to craft a Ascendant long neck rifle and craft 20 - 30 or 10 shocking tranquilizer darts and shot at them from a high distance.

Like the Rex, on Mobile, the Giga will not aggro on a Pteranodon unless attacked or provoked in any way. I study them all the time, just stay on the others and yu’ll be fine 😉

I haven't tamed one of these buggers yet. Me and my tribemate Void (small tribe) want to tame one though. Void is level 62 and I am level 70. I know this is very very stupid to think I of all people can do, but we're gonna try. For all Void cares, they'll punch it's ankles till it gets knocked out. Since we can def not get the saddle, if we do tame one our friends with more than likely give us one I presume. I'm not sure what it's called, but we play on the multiplayer Longneck server in Ark: Survival Evolved mobile. just saying this so ya'll know if we tame one it's possible at lvl 60-70 >:P -glitchboo

They dont attack tamed titanosaurs anymore (they used to) so your completely safe on a titanosaur

After the update of summer bash i tried to look for gigas on all mountains even did a pattern starting from the mountain near carno island to the blue obelisk but it seems that i dont see any gigas any more. Does anyone encounter the same or am i doing something wrong?

If your on the new gen2 map these suckers are not as common as you would think I've spent 5 hours only find a level 15 to knock out i fly above with tek suit I dont use traps, there way easier in Rockwell's garden. For a 150 I bring 300 tranqs with a asc longneck and about 100 more shocking tranqs once its knocked put food and narcs in wait for torpor to drop to about 1/4 then force it 800 narcs (for 150) then you shouldnt have to worry about it waking up I use cooked mutton not the best but it works, hope this helped.

Build a trap made of metal. Stone Also works but gigas can destroy stone structures.

Not a taming tip but a lvl1 giga on Ark Mobile does 250 dmg

(For mobile ark player's ) Do Not Tame a giga without a flyer

I recommend using Kibble,Prime meat,Bio toxin And 10× soothing balm

You should Pick an argentavis for a flyer

Or a tapejara since the tapejara can land on Rocks,bigger tree's.

Ok, so am I the only one struggling to hatch a gigs egg??? I’ve moved to a volcano and dumped the egg in the lava and it says “Too cold!”. I’m about to just make some giga kibble. But if your game isn’t glitched I do recommend using the volcano.

I want to kill two but the first one ran away and the second one got smushed into the ground and thru the map by a titano anyone know how to get them to spawn on the two regular mountains on the island?

Yes the giga is kind of broken on Mobile. They have no movement animations for one thing. They just kind of glide along the ground.

Are these guys broken on mobile? I killed one and I didn’t get a giga heart. It didn’t give it to me straight away, nor was is in its inventory, nor was it given to me after I harvested its body and it didn’t leave an item cache. Also harvesting the body only gave me 17 hide 20 meat and 3 prime meat, which is less than what a Rex would give. Is there something wrong with the giga on mobile?

If you try to tame then with tranq arrows with a crossbow keep in mind that you will need a bunch of arrows

Don’t try to tame it with a bow because it will break and it will not inflict topor (will inflict but it will be depleted in 2 secs)

Good luck with your giga and don’t try to kill wild gigas with your tamed giga

If you try to tame on 1player game do Dino damage all the way down and also player resistance and you should be good so you can’t die also get fur gear and you should live and have it also bring 200 narcotics to keep it asleep also bring 65 tranq darts and some tranq arrows and you should get the giga trap it with 4 gateways also and make sure the gates have tiny cracks
