If you're doing it solo:

Get a spy glass and find a giga and see what level it is.

Get your narcotics ready (the amount that is needed & also bring extra incase)

Get your desired weapon and ammo ready (you can also use a crossbow and tranq arrows but it will take longer. Bring lots of the same weapon and ammo incase your weapon breaks mid tame and bring more ammo for potential missed shots).

Get 4 metal regular dino gates and set 3 of them up in a square position. Put a large bear trap in the middle.

Somewhat further away from your trap place a bed and a storage box.

Put all your supplies in the storage box.

Lure it

Grab supplies

Shoot it from distance

When trapped in bear trap, put the 4th gate behind it! Shoot it down. If you die you most likely won't get your stuff back.

Just in case it rages in its cage (away from other Dino's)I put a high health turtle in the middle of the tiny pen so it kills that you know before any more danfers

A group of 5 guys in my tribe have tamed all 4 on our server(official) best trick is dino gates and bear traps. Beware. The can occassionally glitch out of the dino gates and use rocks to jump them.

U don’t need a lot only 14 metal pillars and a lot of tranqu darts.

All I’m going to say is if you are using a crossbow is bring a spare cross in inventory and pack hundreds of tranqs I had to re-trap and shoot five times because I would run out of arrows or my crossbow would break, save yourself the trouble and prepare. If you have a mid check the narcotics.

I sent All frogs I had 100 then I had 1 frog left this was a 155 giga

Screw the giganotosaurus. If you see this kid, run away. Tame a carcha, mego, spino or rex.

If you ever see this creature, I recommend to run away even if it's a level 1. You can't outrun it and it will only take 2-3 attacks to kill you or your tames with 800HP or lower. If you are riding on a flyer than fly higher cause they can easily reach you.

While this is irrelevant since i don’t think you can tame tek gigas normally, I spawned some 8n and they are actually breedable and hatchable! This doesn’t matter to much but if you looking for a little skin change it’s pretty cool

Best way to knock out is shock tranqs

I would tame this with 4 Dino gateways and 2 bear traps watch out these things can bit from afar

Once when I was farming crystals I then saw a giga lv 12 so I thought I could kill it will a max lv Rex and a ok spino let’s say goobye to both of them rip

So when I came across from one of these guys, I was riding on my lvl 127 wyvern. And I thought, hey, it would be nice to tame a giga. I tried, the topor goes down realy fast, so I'd get a lot of nacos. Oh, and RIP my poor wyvern.

I suggest you place two metal gateways forming a triangle half and put a large bear trap in the middle lure him into the two metal walls once he gets stuck place a large gateway at the end of the trap for him to get stuck once hes stuck tranq him with toxicant arrows i suggest using an ascendant or journeyman comp but if you dont have any of those a regular bow or comp bow will do just be sure to bring more narcotics like a couple thousand just to be sure its torpor drains fast so be sure to bring a lot found this concept on youtube watch pterafier in youtube title (giga spotlight)

Killed a lvl 90, ark mobile sp (max lvl 300). I was lvl 76.

Went to get 4x exp before I killed it.

Didn’t get a level up.

Killing one of these things should give you at least two level ups, just saying. They’re monsters. You don’t even get their full power when you tame them, and you don’t even get a level up when you kill them.

I mean people won’t see this but if you are trying tame is make a trip with stone or metal behe gates of Dino and place them two in a row the one on each side on a slant going out words then run and put two Dino gate in the back

I tried to trap it in some metal billboards but it was too narrow so the giga starting biting the metal billboards instead of me even though it was not trapped and that my friends, is how I got my giga
