It’s pretty easy just lure one into a trap with 4 behemoth metal gateways and gates then tranq it and tame.

If you trap it with a large bear trap, it will stay trapped for about 10 seconds. Use those 10 seconds to tranq it with freinds. When it is tranqed, feed it meat, but when it's torpor drain gets low (which it will), don't shoot it or punch it or anything. Put narcrotics in its inventory and use right tab on Xbox one (there will be a button on mobile), and its unconscious bar will start gaining for a while, and it's health will go up a little, so when you tame it it still has high health, if not damage (it loses damage% when it is tamed)

When encountering a Giganotosaurus in the wild, do not engage, even the toughest of tamed Gigas fall victim to them. If you haven't been spotted, run in the opposite direction. If you have been spotted, run past the nearest herbivore, it will draw its attention so you can get away.

I TAMED A LEVEL 280 HIS STAMINA BAD HIS SPEED BAD HIS OXYGEN BAD HEALTH DEFECATED ON WENT FROM 81800 TO 19800 BUT HIS DAMAGE WAS 1000+ AND I KILLED A TITANOSAUR IN LESS THAN A MINUTE WITH HIM

Trap it, shoot it until it begins to run, use a high melee mantis to left, right, goodnight it. Very fun.

The babies eat a TON. Expect to go on multiple meat runs. They also need special care in the very beginning, where they can only hold up to four meat in their inventory. I’ve never used a trough, but I’m going to, because maybe that will give me a little more free time. I also recommend building a large pen around them with a dinosaur gate. They will eventually get too big to get through the gate, but they work for the first half of their baby life. The pen is to keep them safe, and also from running away if the unexpected enemy attacks you or one of your dinos.

For dude whe didnt find giga for 3 years they dont have exact cordinates of spawn their spawn is mountains on mobile and strategy to finding it is simple get on a flyer and go to maouintain to mountain and check whole mountain there is always atleast one giga on map and im my expiriance place where giga spawns the most is mountain at blue ob

Here's one of the best tricks in ARK MOBILE : If you sleep (with a bed or a sleeping bag), ALL the dinos in your render food bar will be set to 0 (when you make them unconscious, you can see that). After the taming process, the food bar will return to full again (no matter how much taming food you gave the dino). Typed this here because giga is so popular.

If you play ark mobile I recommend a tapejara and 1-3 bear traps and min 4 metal Dino gateways 1 needs 170 metal ingots build your trap and lure in make sure you aren’t too close then fly directly up now you got it trapped and now you wait for a few days and come back then you better start taming the food would have dropped lol you just feed it some and now you have a killer machine

To the guy who said it is har to find them there they are on the middle right side mountain near the beach and in the arctic on the Mountains I have already found 7 of them

If you want to find one I would recommend to transfer on ragnarok or visit the Mountains on the island, you can also go to lava Island.

Go somewhere high where it can’t get you and shoot it

If you're character is slow on running and wants to tame a gigs while trapping it. I recommend to use a speedy tame like a gallimimus or a pterodactyl so that you will not die while attempting to trap it.

I was taming argies and I had to find my petradon cuz my male argie was almost ( I was taming a male one cuz I just tamed a female) and I saw a giga and I flew away and escaped also ( I saw a titanosaur on the way to the mountain in the east which is where I am I live on herb island it took me forever to travel.

Raised one with 1009% as baby in melee damage as adult 1500% + melee damage after levels killed a titanosaur before stamina ran out 400 stamina and about 50 stamina leftover

If you are going to tame this thing then you need

1. A flyer, bigger the better

2. 10 stacks of ammo

3. High quality crossbows or rifles

4. 3-5 Metal gateways(it can destroy stone)

5. Large bear trap

6. Food, kibbles if you can

7. 1000 Narcotics or bio toxin

Step 1. Find giga(usually on mountains)

Step 2. Land with a decent distance

Step 3. Put 2 gateways in a v shape and bear trap in the middle

Step 4. Let it go agro on you and make it go to the trap

Step 5. Place the last gateway to form a triangle around the giga

Step 6. Shoot constantly through gateway

Step 7. KO it and feed food and soothing balm if you have one

Step 8. DO NOT go away, it will wake up any minute, and feed narcotic or toxin occasionally

Step 9. Realise that a tamed giga is MUCH weaker than a wild one
