Your gunna need tranks lots of tranks

If you want a giga you absolutely need to trap it so here is my guide.

For the trap you will need 1x behemoth metal gate

6x regular metal gates and three bear traps

For placement place the big gate facing in the direction of the big boi

Then put the smaller gates in a triangle shape on the other side then put three bear traps Down because if something happens and one gets loose another one will catch it then lure the giga into the trap a fire away. Ps if you can try to use a good longneck or crossbow this will make it a lot faster personally I had an ascendant longneck with 423% dmg and it took 65 darts for a level 55 female and keep at least 200 narcotics on you the torpor drain is crazy. -potato

Giga attacks my friends castle. He escaped on a therinzo and watched as his base was destroyed he went from 256 tames to 1 (he plays on switch) he had 12 rexes and that was the least of it. Weeks later he returns with allos he bred to be giant and was about to crush the giga but he left it in the runes of his base cause it looked like a movie scene a month later he decided he wanted his old land back so he destroyed the lvl 16 giga

Bring bio toxin because this mofo be waking up quicker than your drunk friend when you tried to draw on his face while he was asleep

People finding these near their bases need to stop making their bases on mountains or something…

Or use yourself as living bait, that works too.

I never found one but if I did find a high level don’t even think about taming it run for your life and if you also encounter a Rex run until you get to a safe place and the Giga will fight the Rex

I would recommend a tame that can survive a couple hits from a giga and 4/5 Dino gates that are metal and 3/4cross bows just in case and lots of nars they wake up fast so get the giga to agro on the tame run in trap move far enough away so giga can’t hit tame sneak behind giga then place last gate then rest is up to you hope this was helpful 🦖🦕😄

The mountains are deadly do not go early game because the Gigas,Rexs,Caron’s,Yutyrannus,direwolf and Allosaurus

Mainly a weapon of fear. Most players will instinctively run from the giga, but pros won’t. They know the giga’s rage makes it incredibly ineffective at combat. A few ballista bolts (lvl 29 engram) will make it rage and kill it’s rider. Basically the giga is America. “Don’t fight us, we’ll whoop you.” The health and damage is cut by 3/4 when tamed. Only actually worth the tame for fear tactics. Sooooooooo, don’t try to scare a pro with a giga. It ends with a dead you and later a dead giga. Anyways, if you see a giga coming towards your base, don’t run. Your stuff will be destroyed anyways and they’ll just hunt you down. Instead, run for your ballista. Dead rider and soon a dead giga, because for some reason most players set their tames to passive. Anyways, have a good day!

Very easy tame, use 3 metal Dino gates with a bear trap in the middle, lead it in on foot then run around the back and close it up with a 4th.

Alright get ready for a fighter here.

1: Get a lot of shocking tranqs, ofc with the longneck rifle

2: Have a nice flier just incase, preferably an argie

3: Build a trap for the giga or camp a mountain.

4: Make sure you have kibble/prime meat to tame it

5: Shoot it till knocked out

6: Feed it prime/kibble
