These creatures are very gentle, what you have to do to tame it is slowly walk up to it, get out a big slab of meat, and gentley fee... DONT LISTEN TO HIM, PUT A BEAR TRAP IN FRONT IF YOUR FRIEND AND RUN

Why is its torpor rise as hell when tamed?

For a normal giga it takes 500 tranq arrows and 75-175 tranq darts

IMPORTANT…

If u force feed it cooked prime meat the taming bar actually goes up.

U gotta use at least 10 cooked prime meat for a 0.5 increase. but it works GREAT if u have like 200 prime meat. Idk if they patched this I think not but I do know if u have a Griffey it gives a HUGE taming buff probably like 2x

Warning-this thing wakes up fast make sure you have a lot of narco berries

600 Narcotics just in case (You can also shoot the Dino with ordinary tranq arrow just in case)🔫🔫😷

There torpor goes down like crazy so feed it a TON of narcotics.( In valguero jellyfish spawn relatively close to one of the Gigas spawn location so it’s best to feed it biotoxin). If you tame it with its preferred kibble, mutton, or prime it will obviously tame faster so u won’t need to worry about torpor too much

Might not be true, but in my experience, if you are riding a tame it’s aggro range is shorter.

Down = i’m just a sore loser who uses argy all the time and doesn’t test with actual land dinos

Four metal signs work to trap a giga, but you HAVE to place it a flat ground. It will escape if the signs are uneven.

Also, don't even think about trying to tame a high level giga without a ascended crossy or longneck.

Well what you want to do is simple first, you have to download dododex and create the absolute beast of a giga and max out it’s attack in health stats to fantasize for a while, next you wanna realize that you spent too much time playing this game and be even though you spent too much time you’re not gonna be good enough to survival bite from the giga let alone the patience to find it so result to downloading Mods or creating a server where you have admin. Then you’re going to give yourself a full suit of tech armor and some broken, ascended pump, shotgun and blast out of it until you realize that even with OP admin cheats you’re still no match for a digital dinosaur and give up I hope this was helpful. And good luck taming your giga sorta I guess.

Easy giga taming tip for mobile players only :

Step 1 : find a giga (recommend to find one on a mountain they spawn near griffin mountain a lot)

Step 2 : because it is really hard to trap it on mountains kill it and take it's implant

Step 3 : go to a obelisk and build a trap around it

Step 4 : get 50 bio toxin

Step 5 : revive and knock him out

There you go

(Bonus tip) - if you don't have enough amber to revive one just get a griffin and tame it while sitting on the griffin

Just WHY is the tamed stats MUCH WEAKER a than the wild ones.. other dinos as tamed are normally stronger..

This made me not want to tame it….

To the guy saying raise and imprint and you get 230% melee I’m on official pvp and my gigas are 2300% melee haha
