So easy to tame hit it give 5 pieces of meat then boom you have it tame

Gigas are extremely overrated. I successfully killed on with nothing but my level 5 dodo. Just make sure to use a stone pick, and you’ll be fine!

The best way to knock them out is with a club! They get down after a few hits!

How to tame a giga:

Find a giga (they spawn at Mountains)

Knock It out with tranq arrow or tranq darts

There torpor drops really fast so make sure to feed it narcotics or bio toxin

Feed it raw meat or raw prime meat:

Enjoy ur giga

If your taming a giga use shock tranq darts and trap it with metal gates it will take a while and you might have to tranq it while it is unconscious and your prime meat to tame it hope this helpful

-Get a cave spooder/athropud

-sume iron gate

then ride le spooder/athro come near le gigan if it attack sumething dont come near

If not come near it while sit on spooder/athro neck put four iron gate around it

Tada now just sleep and then shoot it until it have a good dream

I don’t know what the big fuss is about about making traps for these. Can’t u just get flying mount that u can shoot while flying like the griffin and just follow it. Even if u are getting low on stamina go to a place where he can’t reach u and regain stamina. I actually don’t know if I’m wrong or not because I’ve never tried it but this is just common sense.

Idk if it’s just me but it would be cool if this had a very small platform saddle unlike the other creatures where you can build huge bases. While on the giga, you should be able to build smaller, things and have room for one or 2 tames.

Heads up on single player there’s a bug idk if it is1 but when u cryopod a giga then throw it it’s damage and health go down drastically stat wise

A wooden club to knock it out and some narcoberries to keep it down

If you have ark on Xbox or pc you can spawn in a really high lvl tamed one using admin commands

tip for beginners, these are easy to find and are passive, it's a great first tame

go on, charge at it with a bola and 3 tranq arrows, that's all you need. (you will not regret it)

Really disappointing tame 😭 it’s Hp of course is still great at 18,000 it’s dmg is fine but a really strong spino is better at everything and it is easy to tame, and a Gigas stamina is sooooooo low, and it’s incredibly hard too tame 🥺😭😭😭😡🥺😭🙄

Use 200 narcotics for the Gigantosaurus

Confirmed on ARK mobile- lvl 245 kibble 10x balm tamed giga with 250% melee CAN kill wild lvl 40 giga- just be careful, as the bleed can be very dangerous.

Using wyvern milk helps you not insta die to em cause it cancels the bleed best way to kill for me tho was 2 things large bear traps n a wooly rhino. You have the giga get trapped n the u ram into the giga from behind you can about 6000 damage per trap with a high melee rhino 🦏

Next strat is large bear traps and a Thylo trap the giga and then bleed it out make sure to come from behind tho with both starts or u will get hit
