Tip on how to find these beasts is once u unlock the mission. Hunt highs use it to lead u to gigas

Look if you see one and you low level or have weak American don’t go near if you think they weak they aren’t I’ve seen them kill a lot but if you high level you can tame if you have a trap tranqs food and a tame you good up if this was helpful

These are really strong but to a surprise, all you need to do get close to it and hit it with a club a few times. It falls unconscious and give it like 5 raw meat to tame. Ez. Its the best starter tame and really strong.

how to tame: u need some meat.

1. Find a giga. THEY ARE ALMOST EVERYWHERE. mostly live on mountains.

2. punch it out

3. feed it meat

4.yay u have a giga

Some idiot told me he was going to knock out a giga with me watching, so I said, “Yeah right try it bud and if you actually do I will give you 1k dollars.”which he did, and he put admin on and began punching it to death. After what seemed like a million years or boredness, he knocked it out. I lost my bank account.

U can skycamp it with a rhyniognatha

Don’t make a saddle for it if you play on ragnarok. It is super common to get gigas saddles in ragnorok, made and blueprints. I made one knowing this and got a made 58 armor saddle.

IMPORTANT…

If u force feed it cooked prime meat the taming bar actually goes up.

U gotta use at least 10 cooked prime meat for a 0.5 increase. but it works GREAT if u have like 200 prime meat. Idk if they patched this I think not but I do know if u have a Griffey it gives a HUGE taming buff probably like 2x

Warning-this thing wakes up fast make sure you have a lot of narco berries

Alpha meat ( or kibble)🍖🍗

600 Narcotics just in case (You can also shoot the Dino with ordinary tranq arrow just in case)🔫🔫😷

There torpor goes down like crazy so feed it a TON of narcotics.( In valguero jellyfish spawn relatively close to one of the Gigas spawn location so it’s best to feed it biotoxin). If you tame it with its preferred kibble, mutton, or prime it will obviously tame faster so u won’t need to worry about torpor too much

Might not be true, but in my experience, if you are riding a tame it’s aggro range is shorter.
