No don't run toward the giga! Run the other way! Run the OTHER WAY!!!

If you want this weapon of mass destruction I’ll give tips:

You’ll need:

-A trap bc this thing is actually hard to hit without a trap.( I used 4 metal gates but any trap that’s big enough works)

-Your KO weapon(it doesn’t have to be a longneck, crossbow worked fine)

Now you know what you’ll need, let’s get to taming.

1. find a giga.

Gigas are basically ONLY found in mountains or snow and you’ll know it when you see one.(they are bronto-sized rexes)

2. Set up the trap.

A preferred place to set the trap is on any sort of flat ground, lead the giga in. If it doesn’t get stuck, the trap doesn’t work or you’re just skill issue.

3. KO the giga.

This should be easy but will take awhile. Don’t stop shooting because it’s torpor drops fast.

4. Feed it.

You can starve it or give it prime(don’t ask where raw meat went)it’s up to you, give it 100 biotoxin when it’s on low torpor and you’re set.

Now you have machine of death. It wasn’t that hard wasn’t it?

I found a level 2 giga when flying around ( I know this sounds weak but I am not even close to a good level so this thing will eat me in a instant) and it has slowly been moving forwards my base! What should I do!!!!!!!! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭🦖

If you’re trying to kill this bro for the achievement, here’s how I did it. Get yourself a Quetzal with a platform and put about nine auto turrets on it. Put about 100 bullets in each turret and find yourself a Giga. Make sure the turrets are on high range and turn them on as soon as you’re close to the Giga so you waste as little bullets as possible. Just start circling the Giga and stay out of the hit range. Boom, dead Giga in about five minutes.

Honestly just breed them. They are insane when they give birh to babies cause they end up having over 1000 plus damage

With the proper technique, it's a long, but easy tame ;

1rst step : tame a scorpion, or arthropleura from within the caves (really important)

Imprint the MD as much as possible, until you'd find the gigano

Use the not-an-insect-even-though-every-one-say-they're-bugs, to attack the big one (he won't agro on you, unless you dismount)

Between each attacks, wait few seconds, until he'd recove 1hp

After a long while, he's knocked out, just bring him food... & Narcotics 👍

Be very careful in Ragnarok especially if you are starting out in Scotland as they are common there. I am currently trying not to have a mental breakdown while sitting in a cave listening to it stomp around directly above me...

never get cornered.

Using a metal ramp, roof, wall, and foundation you can make the giga run to the top of the roof then if you stand on the ground it will keep trying to bite you but its attack hitbox will never reach you. You can then easily kill it if you have enough ammo since if you try to tranq it the giga will end up running away after you used enough tranqs and it will be pretty difficult to catch up to and knock out.

Update from last time:

Sadly black pearl died, I lost stam so I was resting on a hill when the giga (10 for sure) sprinted over and killed us.

Now, I have the trap and the arrow.

The giga’s gonna be mine soon.

When I was new,I loved killing rexes with my dire wolf.I really did not know the difference between a gigs and trex.so I saw this near my house one day...

One killed my pteranadon who wasy main dino companion 1 like : 1 rip for my good old pteranadon 😭

honestly not worth taming anymore besides the novelty of having one. they harvest a lot of meat but tamed gigas have HORRIBLE stats so just don’t bother. get a carcha instead for a million reasons. Better damage; better health, better mechanics, cooler appearance, harder, better, faster, stronger.

TO THE GUY HAVE 7 REX AND PUMP ACTION SHOTGUN corrupted giga is very risky but somehow if you can place ur rexes All around the giga you WOULD be killing it (sory for my English its not my language)

A carcharo with 100 stacks and 250% melee can take one down but you'll be left at less than half health but if its 300% you'll be left at more than half

I spent an hour taming a Max lvl anky on a ledge. After about 20 minutes I looked down and 2 gigas were below looking right at me their heads almost reaching the top of the ledge. They stayed there the entire time

Ok so while trapping one can be effective, it's not technically necessary. If you stand on a ledge on a mountain that's too steep for it, it'll just stand there looking into your eyes and longing to feast upon your flesh as you make it go sleepy
