Use a stego since they are easier to tame. Once on a stego they can’t dismount you, just put it in hardened mode and pull out your crossbow and go to work. ^ for more 0 to 100 tips.

Watched Raasclarks video and the saddle is unlocks at level 50, this is a knockout tame and their preferred kibble is superior kibble. To get the milk you have to breed them.

If possible, try to find a lonely one as possible or have good weapons. These are a knockout tame and a long one at that. They spawn in areas with allos, rexes and more, and aggroing them could lead to them getting attacked or killed. A trap is reccomended as another big feature is that they often spawn in large groups and will attack if approached. And attacking them is hard as they will knock you off your mount and hit like trucks. If you knock one out, put berry’s, (presumably) veggies, or kibble into their inventory along with lots of narcotics. If possible, I think it’s more worth it to knock out a parent and kill it while unconscious. Then claim the baby and cryopod it because they are SLOW.

It’s a simple knockout tame that likes berries and veggies u find it in a new area near the highlands where gigas and carchas spawn it’s a plains they usualy come in groups of 3 or 4

So build a three high platform then kill the other bison that you don’t want to tame after their all dead trap the one that you want to tame in large gateways then knock it out it eats berries i think and then you have a giant bison

You can find these guys on the big northwest island (shellycoat island)

Standard knockout tame, easy to trap and takes veggies, berries, kibble.

Number of shots for tranq arrows with crossbow is off for level 140 or higher. It's like 44 to 50. Then again always bring extra and pace your shots.

If you can lead the adults in a herd to a Giga or Rex, you can claim the babies once the adults die

High health high torpor tames use the infamous double knockout method for cheap tame, especially during 2x. You knock it out, let it wake up, come back to the game 3 hours later, knock it out again, instant tame

There a tranq tame. Just use 4 metal billboards and make a square. If u have three placed and Agro the bison to chase you they go right in. Then just place the final billboard and kill the rest of the pack.

KO Tame, prefers exceptional kibble or berries. Very high Torpo drain so bring narcotics! Can get stuck in metal billboards if they havent targeted you yet. Will knock you off your tame if you get hit. Fun new tame!

Sometimes you can find Bison by themselves which has happened to me a few times and you can make a trap for the single bison by getting 10 high door frame and 4 foundations and putting them into a 2 x 3 rectangular box and putting the foundations in the 4 corners of this trap and leaving one side open That only has two walls and luring the bison in with a flyer by going over top of the trap and making them go into the trap then close off the open wall and then you can take out the bison and feed it, rockcarrots then you will have a bison.

In every pack there is an alpha(the highest lvl) if you trap the alpha the rest of the bison will constantly come back to it when you try to lead them away so if youre trying to tame one dont pick the highest level of the group

In my opinion this thing is harder to get than a wyvern but because they usually spawn in packs and can dismount you, I don’t recommend a trap I recommend you find them and go to the nearest high rock that doesn’t have a way for them to run on it and you tranq them. I also prefer the easier route and lure the parents into rexes and take the baby.

Little tip use a pt and a crossbow (if you want milk) find a female low level with a baby shoot it hop on pt c spin away rinse and repeat till KO then feed it mejo berrys and wait then take its milk and leave it or take it home and have an army of bison for milk
