Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a bison? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a bison.
I found a group knocked them all out killed the low levels and tamed the rest
You knock it out and feed it berries
Wildcard just said that the bison is releasing feburary
I do a lot of taming with my Quetzal
I built a taming pit 4x4 stone foundations with doorways built all around and simply dropped the desired creature into the pit with my Quetzal.
Used tranq darts & narcotics & mejoberries & crops
I like this method because I don’t have to worry about other creatures messing with me as I am in my base, surrounded by my tames.
When torpored, they dont run away from you. So you dont need a traditional trap. Make a stone/metal enclosure with lots of doors for you to shoot through and stay in it once aggro'd. It will only run away if it can't path to you. 3x3 foundations and walls should work. Then tranq it.
Best way to tame : find one on its own. Stack 3 pilers and at least 3 ceilings on the pilers. Shoot from the platform. Once bison is down, build a quick trap.
An awesome trap : place 4 Dino gateways in a square around the bison (or whatever) to secure it. Secure the area. Then add 2-4 foundations right outside 1 of the gateways, place walls 2 high either all around it. OR place 4 walls (2 high) on either sides of the foundations, pick up the gateway that's in the way and place it at the last open end of the trap. (a bit expensive, but easy to set up and protect)

When you tame these guys berries are actually better than crops. With the rates I have it tamed a lot better with berries.
