You can use bug repellent to open your hives with out taking damage

Do not have a Chibi in your offhand when accessing the bee hive inventory, the bees will sting you even if you have full ghili on!!!

If you want a little bee pet you can upload one of the workers she spawns and then take it out and it won’t die

Taming a Dire Bear is your best option with the Giant Bee. First, break the hive, either with the bear or with a gun, then(with a a full set of Ghillie armor and Bug Repellant) walk up to it with Rarer Flowers in your last slot on your hotbar, press the prompted button(E on PC, triangle on PS4, and Y on X Box). After that, you can hold the same button when looking at the Giant Queen Bee, and have her turn into a Bee Hive. You can place this down at your base. The hive must have Rare Flowers in it or it will begin dying. Make sure whenever your enter the hives inventory that you are wearing a Ghillie Suit, otherwisse you will be stung repeatedly. After a while, you will obtain honey, which can be used in many recipes

RAGNAROK TIP: Type of bee: tamed, if you tamed this or forced tamed this MAKE YOUR BASE AT TYRANNOGON RARE FLOWERS SPAWN THERE, if your bee says get beehive hit the button you need to take it, if your beehive when placed at your base has rare flowers it is healthy and you probably know this but it needs rare flowers. When your process of taming the giant bee is done they can't be placed on foundations so place it at ground level.

When you’ve placed your own beehive and want to take some honey from it it will still give you the “beeees” debuff so if you don’t want to deal with that then spray yourself with bug repellent beforehand and it won’t give you the debuff

Just a quick tip, once you tame it if your looking for easy rare flowers throw out a giant turtle. They create rare flowers in their inventory very fast, you'll have a fridge full in no time

To transfer bees to another server, demolish you're bee hive, then cryopod the Queen.

You can use dire bear to get honey without getting attacked by the bees

Need honey in Aberration? You might find that taming one of these guys is unnescessary. You can hardly walk ten steps without finding a wild bee hive (not including the bioluminescent areas, of course), and seeing as the hazard suit also protects you from the “BEEEES!” effect, you can freely harvest these hives without fear of stings.

To drop honey on console, equip it on last slot and use it as if you'd consume/equip it (L1 + X on PS4). It seems to attract carnivores from medium distance. Great for calming Leeds (giant fish) when on a raft.
