In the red woods breaking hives i found the best way was ranged attacks off a megatherium (only alpahas and dire bears will attack you that I've found) kill any drones that attack then chase Queen when she appears.

Tame the Queen with a Sinomicrops on your shoulders. Make sure it’s on neutral. It will kill all the giant bees stinging you and give you a path to tame the Queen with Kibble

If you plan to use the bee on Abberation, do not put it in a cryopod. It will not throw back out on Abberation

Direbears are immune to bee stings very useful for destroying bee hives

You can cryo the queen to transfer between servers.

use a rocket launcher on nests you hear bees in this tip it works

iirc they only spawn at lv5 and with flowers they are great for raft living

I found that a single RPG will destroy the hive, then bug repellant is enough to keep you covered while you feed it rare flowers, though having a set of ghillie on doesn't hurt. Just don't fire 2 RPGs and kill the Queen you're trying to tame, 1 should be enough to break the hive in one go.

you NEED bug repellant or a gillie to tame in asa. The queen needs to be de-agroed to feed her

Honestly the easiest way to break the hive is to chatge at it with a high melee damage rhino. Just make sure not to attack again and kill the queen on accident

If you're trying to tame this a dire bear is very useful as it gives you protection against the bee while rideing it

Be careful when passive feeding it if you toucu it its drones will kill you

Wear ghillie suit, use bug repellent, bring rare flowers (6 to be safe), destroy the hive, and finally, get close enough to tame with rare flowers. (When destroying the hive, make sure to wear flak or better armor before you destroy the hive and kill the drones, then switch your gear to ghillie or you’ll be wasting your armor before you can even tame)

Pteranodon barrel roll attack is good for breaking the nest as for taming it's best to have a full set of ghillie then throw honey lay and lay down next to it and spam the interact key when it flies to it's honey.

Ghille suit, rare flowers, shoulder mount otter. Stay about 10 foundation lengths away from the hive and shoot until hive explodes. Giant bees will explode themselves before they get to you & otter will kill those that dont die first. When hive explodes, queen will be hovering...give her ichthyornis kibble or rare flowers to tame. Take to your camp and the hive will make honey, but DO NOT check for the honey without wearing a ghillie suit...still, you will start to lose health slowly if you stay too close to it for too long.

Use their preferred kibble you only need three for a max level!

Ive tamed about 100 bees now very easy if you gave a wyvern, you need to be well prepared though. Total of 3 bites and then walk backwards, as long as you have backed up quickly enough you should be far enough away from the queen to bite any attacking workers, wait till they finished attacking then dismount, keep a sword in your inventory just in case you get dismounted.

Easiest way to destroy the hive is two Chacoloriums (I definitely spelt that wrong) and using their rock throw, destroying the hive in ~5 hits. You can either run at it and spam "Y" (Xbox) or used a ghillie suit with bug repellent to get close to tame it calmly.

Always use a sword or a pike to kill the drones and don't bother with guns
