They were bugged so you couldnt find the nests. Turns out they were invisible. The recent patch should have fixed it.

I had found about 30 beehive on The Island map. They were all empty. NO QUEEN BEE WTH.

Can't find them on Lost Island, anyone else?

Not sure if this is just me or not but on console when she summons her soldiers while trying to tame it kicks you off the server

Why is it impossible to find a giant bee inside the hive?

The anti meshing keeps kill8ng my queen tame. I don't know how to stop this

I make about 40-50 fishing poles (they're cheap) and fly around with an argy or wyv stealing honey from hives. Honey never goes bad in fishing poles and I take it out as needed. Then just fly away from the worker bees. Gilly is best if you have it.

There's a glitch in lost island when you break the hive the queen doesn't come out i could've been having bad lack but idk

Beehives can also be found on cliff faces outside the redwood biome, if your not looking to be mauled by a thylacoleo.

The giant worker bees on crystal isles are neutral, even if you walk into the hive. But if you hit anything... BEWARE!

Something I see way too often even with veterans is that if a hive doesn’t spawn mini bees THERE IS NO QUEEN don’t waste time run near hives and if physical bees pop out there is a queen it will also make a loud ass sound btw. Remeber ghille will work with no repellant but repellant makes life easier

the level of the smaller bees is the same level as the queen bee. so you can just attack it then check the level of the small bees so you know what level the queen bee is and you don’t have to break the hive/nest thing

I looked all over the redwood forest on the island and can't find one bee hive. Please help

On aberration, their nests can be found at the base of the big brown trees that you cannot harvest

Sometimes bee hives will spawn inside each other which can result in alot of bees attacking you. If you damage one hive use a spyglass to see if it's only one hive.

IF YOU CANT FIND A HIVE IN THE REDWOODS! My game had zero nest spawns I had to use admin commands to input "admincheat destroywilddinos" will reset wild spawns so be aware if you built somewhere dangerous. Only way I was able to get quetz and bees to spawn. (dedicated PS4 server)

I'll be honest with you, taming these on scorched earth, Ragnarok and modded maps with scorched engrams and recourses is best, "why?" Because there you have flame arrows and flame throwers, simply shoot the hive with your gun of choice, I recommend anything but a rocket launcher or tek rifle since whenever I try it with those nothing comes out, then burn the drones with a flamethrower, it's most effective, once you've gotten rid of them run up to the Queen, jump, and feed her, that's how it's done, all the drones will tame to you and you should be good, then just obtain bee hive and once you get back to base place the bee hive and demolish it, your bee will come out just fine, if you want honey just place the hive and give it rare flowers, I recommend having camouflage on so they don't attack you, you'll soon get some honey for taming bears and liopluerodons, and making veggie cakes, I believe it's in megalania kibble as well.
